I feel like people are forgetting how good this kid is

Dude, if this doesn't get the blood flowing straight to your football mushroom tip, please see yourself out of the forum. The combination of balance, footwork, and bend to shrink his surface area around the arc is bananas. Tackle basically had nothing to strike. Bro, look at those feet. The inside toe taking him to the QB and outside foot gaining depth. And oh yea, Nick isn't some 245 lbs speed rusher; he's 270 lbs. Holy s**t, Nick Bosa.

You off Bosa?

I think Justin Houston is over-rated at this stage of his career. I think he's a guy put on the field strictly on passing downs now. Still valuable but shouldn't change any plans.

Why can't we get Houston and Bosa...

Armstead/Thomas - Jones - Buckner - Bosa
Houston - draftee - Warner

We obviously still need

Justin Houston or any edge rusher not named DLaw won't change getting Bosa. Houston isn't the all-pro pass rusher from a couple yrs ago.
Spent the last month talking myself into Josh Allen....now this.

We can I don't think getting really any of these FA pass rushers changes drafting someone like Bosa. Houston probably becomes more of a subpackage edge rusher though, which is great because he's always banged up.
Bosa is going to wreck Willow. All of those missed sacks will finally stop.

Nick Bosa is the TRUTH
But....can he anchor tho?
Meh, over rated, coming off injury. We have a lot of options, trade his rights for a ransom.

Absolutely a great talent but I believe he is going to continue to fight against injuries through out his career. I'm honestly hoping we can somehow trade with giants or jags and acquire their first with OBJ or Ramsey in some sort.

Obviously we would have to add something but I feel as though there are a lot of talented pss rushers in this draft that we could get and they can learn behind a veteran like Justin Houston for a year or two and be a plug and play at first. Just my thoughts.

Lets pass on Bosa because of injury concerns and then trade for OBJ who has missed 16 games in the last 2 seasons.

Solid logic.

People still call Jimmy Garoppolo Injury prone because an OL fell on his shoulder, and his knee buckled on bad turf in KC. It drives me nuts that people don't bother to look into how the player got hurt before labeling him. Freak injuries are not the same as chronic injuries.

You tried to make this point with Brandon Belt too. It doesnt matter if the injuries are freak injuries. Being prone to injury is being prone to injury. How they happen is irrelevant.

Thats one of the most ignorant takes ive ever heard. How they happen is incredibly relevant. How someone cant see the difference between freak accidents and chronic issues is beyond me. If someone hits you over the head with a crowbar, are you injury prone? A fluke injury like someone crashing into your knees is much different than constantly pulling up lame.

"This guy is overrated....so some other team will give up a ransom for him."

I clearly said you can, but does filling the need at edge change things on OBJ for you is the question. Obviously you can't have OBJ and Bosa in this scenario. So is Williams OBJ and Houston equal or greater or lesser in your mind than Houston Bosa
