I think the problem is, Nick Bosa reminds me of Soloman Thomas.

Why? The Solomon pick was projection and potential. He had an outstanding bowl game and good pre-draft. Bosa was the consensus #1 pick for a whole year. Not a late riser.

It's just a bad take. Solomon Thomas is an interior player with just enough athleticism to win on the edge sometimes in college. Bosa is a pure edge rusher with far more bend.

He was never asked to stand up, move laterally, or cover while at OSU. It would be a complete waste of his best talents. Josh Allen would be a much better fit for that role.
Man I get a gut sinking vibe Allen will be a better pro tho, but bosa is the safest pick
I believe we are gonna land Bosa boysss

Yeah, I'm genuinely confused by the snark for that particular statement...

Again if I were Arizona it would be 1. Murray 2. QW two. They already have their 1 pass rush only OLB they shouldn't have two if they wanna use a 3-4.

100% agree, be a waste of a Bosa.

Bosa had better 10 yard split and cone/shuttle numbers than Clowney. Garrett didn't run the shuttle and cone drills but Bosa had the better 10 yard split over him too.

Let's give the dude some respect. He may not have had crazy numbers overall but the ones that are key to the position were top notch.
I'm not going by combine numbers, I'm going by the eye test.

Joseph had the same scenario last year in Denver with Chubb, Miller. End of the day Chubb went into coverage 5 times a game. With nickel subpackages, blitzing it can easily be worked around if they wanted to go down that route.

Maybe, but I just don't see it. If memory serves, Chubb rushed from various stances in college. Bosa has exclusively put his hand in the dirt and played the classic DE position. It might work, but it seems to throw more risk into the number 1 pick than I would want....

They are exactly nothing alike.

He's terrible in coverage even if he has a bit of experience. Just awful. 40 pff rating there.

Grant Cohn legit trying to say Bosa isn't cut out to be an edge rusher cuz of his arm length. Unreal.

This may be the single greatest endorsement I've ever seen for Nick Bosa.
