It's just a bad take. Solomon Thomas is an interior player with just enough athleticism to win on the edge sometimes in college. Bosa is a pure edge rusher with far more bend.

Let's give the dude some respect. He may not have had crazy numbers overall but the ones that are key to the position were top notch.

Joseph had the same scenario last year in Denver with Chubb, Miller. End of the day Chubb went into coverage 5 times a game. With nickel subpackages, blitzing it can easily be worked around if they wanted to go down that route.
