There is a reason why guys like Tom Brady drop and guys like Jamarcus Russell go 1st overall.

In this scenario we would obviously have to add an edge pass rusher in free agency (Ansah) but man, to get Nelson to solidify the interior and bring a nasty attitude as well as O'Neill who hasnt even begin to scratch the surface of his potential would be amazing. Add in Cole who would be the ultimate backup and could even start one day and our Oline is in good shape.

I think a LB group of Nwosu - Kiser - Leonard would be lights out. We could add our entire LB group in one draft! Foster won't be long for this league if he continues on this path of self destruction.

I love corners who are elite returnmen. They want the ball and when they get it they can flip the field. Guys like that are hard to find..

I don't know if Gallup, Cole or even Hughes would be available when we pick but this draft would set us up for a very long time.

No, I get why teams are enamored with him. But he hasnt been very good or consistent in college. So my point was how can you knock Darnold for something and not Allen for the same thing?

Disclaimer: I honestly don't think Allen is any good at all, and wouldnt take him anywhere before the 4th. Too many teams have gotten caught up in this Tall, strong arm narrative and it seldom works. But I also don't think Darnold was very good either, but hes a better pro prospect than Allen.

I actually like both QBs based on potential thought I would be extremely afraid if I was the GM to have to pull the trigger. I would like AB to answer why he has one high and one low because both are very inconsistent. I would say a couple of big differences though are that Darnold had better talent than Allen around him and wouldn't always maximize it but at least he would keep his eyes downfield. Allen had worse talent and sometimes made them look better but also a tendency to drop his eyes too much.

AB - I love that you put your list out and rank the players based on what you are seeing. I do have a few questions if you have time to answer.

-Why so low on Gallup?

-Is your Griffen ranking based on where you would draft him? Would you take him in the 4th to 5th round range based on your ranking?

-What are you seeing with Taven Bryan? I think he has first round talent but doesn't always show up.

-More of a comment... Have you watched Phillip Lindsey? I think he belongs in your RB rankings as a change of pace back.

He doesn't fit what lynch looks at in a 49er...he wants guys who give it 100% and love football/the team.

I wouldn't be suprised if he was off his board

gross...Jason Fitzgerald of OTC stated Crowell could command around $6-$6.5 million in FA.

Nice board, the only one I disagree on is A.Key being the top DE. I watched a couple of his game films and he is far from being the best DE/Edge. He gets dominated by TEs and RBs more often than he should being one of the top DEs, add his off field issues to it, I'll pass on him. I'd rather draft Hercules Mata'afa in the 3rd and sign E.Ansah/A.Clayborn in FA.
