I think we stand pat and get a difference maker, would love to see Roquan Smith in a niner uniform next to Foster.
But if Mayfield slides to us and we can get another 2nd and a 2019 pick, I'd love to see us get Harold Landry or Ridley.

We can get a top shelf player there I want to stand pat. the chance of getting a perennial pro bowler drops substantially once you get into the late teens. obviously you still have a great chance of getting an amazing player but at 9-13 You can get a top talent player to slip to you. Maybe nelson if we are incredibly lucky.

Hopefully, Nelson, Smith, or Ridley are available at 9/10. I suspect the Raiders will probably take Smith if he's there at 9.

I depends on what is available. If they can trade down get a pick and still land Nelson that's a no brainier. I'm not sold on R. Smith being a top ten talent. I would rather protect Garappolo. If by some miracle Barkley is there I might take him. If they draft a DL 4 years in a row I might break the world record for the hardest facepalm ever.

I wanted to trade back when were 0-9 and had a shot at a top 2 pick. Now it's all about BPA. Stay put.

Im thinking were trading down. Lynch likes to talk a lot as well as move things around a lot. If we don't have a sure fire pick he's gonna fiddle with it imo.
I'm actually pretty interested to see how this thing turns out. The two Josh's and what they do are the key I guess.

If Chubb falls out of the top 6, I could see us moving up a pick or two and selecting him if the price isn't too high.
I also could see us dropping into the 15-25 if someone offers us a good package of picks to move up and grab a QB.

Depends on what happens before we pick. Hard to say at this point really.
I'm hoping there is a run on the QBs and Tackles before we pick.
Either we pick the BPA or some team over pays to trade up to our spot. (Like if the team is picking late teens and give us their 1st and 3rd this year and a 1st or 2nd next year you gotta pull the trigger).
Can't wait to see how free agency goes first

It depends, of course. It's nothing you can predict so early on in the process.

There always is a top 5 talent that falls to pick 10, who will it be this year??
Soquan Barkley
Chubb
Or do you take the best Notre Dame OL left on the board, with the guard first if both available

Exactly.
If we had pick 1 or 2 I would say trade down for sure.
At this point my best educated answer is... I dunno

Tunsil is the only top 5 prospect in recent memory who slipped to 10 and that was because of the marijuana picture. Leonard Williams "fell" to 6th in 2015 and Buckner fell 1-2 spots to 7 in 2016. The top 6 players in 2014 went in the top 7 (top 7 if you include Bortles). There were no surprises at the top of the 2013 draft either. I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that a top prospect always slips to 10.
Barkley, Chubb, and Nelson are the top 3 non-QB prospects. I wouldn't be surprised if all 3 are off the board by the time we pick at 9 or 10. None of the offensive tackles deserve to be picked ahead of any of these guys. McGlinchey struggled against speed rushers in the 2nd half of the season and will likely have to play RT, Orlando Brown has awful feet (Voch Lombardi did a good breakdown of the top tackles and pointed out Brown getting beat repeatedly), and Connor Williams has questionable length and core strength and comes with some injury risk after tearing ligaments in his knee earlier this year.
There's really no one out there who is going to push Barkley or Chubb down to 9 or 10 in my opinion and it's hard to come up with 8-9 players who could be picked ahead of Nelson.
