OG.

That's the only way it's a slight possibility to get Nelson at 11 because he's a guard. No other OG is worth #11

Some are discussing Connor Williams to start at G then slide to T down the road.

It wouldn't be the worst move but it wouldn't be what I'd do there.

Best value that may still be available I would say CB

You might be right. Is any of them worth #11 to you?

I know I might be alone on this but if I'm taking a CB at 11 it would be Josh Jackson. I think kid will be the best of the class and a stud

He could be a trade down target if they believe he will be there in the teens.
Should be either a guard or an edge rusher. WR and CB can easily be addressed in FA.

G can be addressed in FA,Garnetts coming too...

We just need to sign hopefully 3 starters to fill in the rest in the draft.

I'm thinking we'll sign Ryan Jensen to address the center position, not sure if we'll sign a guard too.

BPA regardless of positoin. However, they would be in the prime position to pick up R. Smith, Nelson or McGlinchey. All three players would fit a need and will be good pros in the NFL. (McGlinchey will probably fall due to his combine numbers)

McGlinchey will fall due to being worthless against speed rushers the 2nd half of the season. Nelson will be long gone by the time teams start looking at McGlinchey (late first round-early 2nd probably). I don't think the combine will change his draft stock much - he's going to have very long arms at ~6'8 310 and he'll probably run a decent 40 and an average-below average 3 cone and shuttle if he does those. He's probably better suited to RT given his foot speed issue while Connor Williams may be best suited to OG in a zone blocking scheme due to his limited length. RT could be a need assuming we flip Brown to LT when Staley retires, but Connor Williams is the guy I'd target if we're sitting at 11 and Nelson, Barkley, Chubb, Fitzpatrick, James, Smith, and Sutton are all off the board. If Rosen and Darnold both don't declare, pickings could be slim at 11 because only 1-2 QBs will be gone then.

I couldn't have said it better myself. However, I still think he will be picked in the teens. We will see. I still like him as a prospect but I don't think he has "all pro" written all over him. Instead, he's a plug and play player for ten years. Low ceiling, relatively low bust.

Yeah.. We atleast need a C,hopefully. If no G in FA perhaps well target one in the 2nd/3rd. Maybe we trade up to late 1st/early 2nd.

This is why I voted CB as well.
Plan should be BPA at a major position of need (DE, CB, WR, LB, OG/T) unless we trade down. (I don't count OG unless they project as a Tackle. Good Guards are not that hard to come by, unlike good OTs which are simply a rarer type of athlete.) When we were Top 5, I was all in on Chubb, who I consider an elite prospect at a position of need, but he won't be available at 11. So I have a feeling Josh Jackson will be the guy.

Im warning up to the thought of trading down for Jackson...get an extra say 2nd and a 4th/5th, then grab Holland in the late 21st/early 2nd with a trade up?
Josh Jackson. He won't last much longer than 11 at the latest. Just take him there unless we get blown away by a trade offer.

Then take Josey Jewell in the 2nd and Akrum Wadley in the 3rd.

And no, I'm not an Iowa fan.

I'd be ok with Jackson at 11, my 2 fav picks for the niners prob won't make it to 11th, Roquan Smith and Quentin Nelson..

I think one has a solid chance.

If a top QB is still available at 11 maybe the Bills look to move up. They have two 1st round picks and two 2nd round picks. Right now they are at pick 17, I'd take that pick and one of their 2nd's. Something to think about
