What is your drafting philosophy?

Trade down in the 1st rd, if feasible. I'd expect the Giants to rebound somewhat now that McAdoo's been fired, but we'll have to see. So long as we end up in a top 5 position, I'd think there should be a good chance somebody will call Lynch to trade up. Within the draft I'd grab two top OL, one OT, the other OG/C. I'd draft a good RB after letting Hyde walk. I'd pick the best pass rusher in the 1st rd...Chubb's the guy. I know many want Barkley and I get it...but in just about every draft there are plenty of very good to excellent all-around RB's. Top flight pass rushers are much tougher to find. I'd draft a CB to develop after Lynch signs one in FA. Ditto WR...preferably one with size.
I'd draft a S and LB to develop, the latter somewhat dependent whether Lynch signs a FA or not. Would love to see him sign Ogletree. Probably draft a QB, in the mid to late rds. I'd draft a playmaking TE...ideally Andrews from OK. Dude's a true baller. It's true who Lynch signs in FA could have an impact on who he drafts...still, I think the positions he drafts should remain. If he's drafting for depth, so much the better...I wouldn't expect Lynch to draft for as many starters as he did in 2017.
Both. Trade down from #2 or 3 because we have a ton of needs we can fill while other teams may be targeting specific players. Then use those picks to trade up selectively to target guys who slip in the draft or great scheme fits (someone like Ridley if he falls to the teens).

I agree with you 100%

We all have seen what happens when you don't have a solid Oline (it can ruin a qb).

Cant run the ball (even if you have a stud rb) and you cant pass (at least downfield) cause they don't give the qb enough time to go thru his progressions.

A skilled wr wont even get thrown to (even if open) if the qb doesn't have the time to see him.

Plus Staley is getting up there too!

Free agency. There $100 million + has to go somewhere. Spend on those O-line trenches and draft the skill players to take advantage of it. I do think we should draft one guard in the 2nd or third to develop as a future starter or starter in 2018 in case Garnett isn't the guy. I think the thing we have to keep in mind is that we can't fill every hole this year. We should concentrate on a few that will make our offense and defense functional.
It really depends on what's available? Can we trade down and still get the o line fixed? I still say guard and center we need to keep the push up the middle away from Jimmy G. I believe there is always skill players out there in later rounds to be had. Don't forget about available free agents too.

My idea is based on addressing O-line in free agency. I'd rather we have 4 guys that we KNOW can play, along with a rookie or Garnett as opposed to all rookies in the middle of the line.

Also, with those skill positions, there are guys later, but I'd like to come away with at leat two special 3 down players in this draft. That only can happen if we take care of the trenches in free agency. Again, I want us to give Kyle the players he needs to make this offense work as well as on defense.
At this point (3-10, JG looking legit as hell) we need to address o-line and def the defense. I assume we sign a guard or cent in fa that's a plug and play starter. I mean why wouldn't we?

I say 1st pick simply take the best player available. For the rest of draft I wanna see lineman and any defensive position really. We need better corners. A real Leo. Wouldn't mind another safety, linebackers. Lol things are definitely looking up, but we have a long way to go.

I see this opposite. Use FA $$$ on a #1 WR, CB and vet center. Then draft Nelson.
Random question but if a team wanted to trade up from about 15 and their 2nd this year and 1st next year and 2nd next year. Would you do it?

So you are saying, our 1st for the (approx) #15 and mid 2nd and their next year's 1st and second? I haven't checked the draft values but gut reaction is, like a shot! Probably use the 2nd to move #15 back up a bit and bank the 2018 picks.

Yeah. Sounds better when you move back up with it. Texans and Chiefs trades up from mid 20s to 10 and 12 I believe. So value I think will be about the same. If a team loves a qb not sure who or what. Just wondering what our trade down options are since we're not going to be drafting top 3 anymore. Realistically as good after these wins but not gonna lie these Wins feel good. Especially with Jimmy as our QB moving forward

I want to do what Butter said...and it's very doable. Don't forget about the return of Garcon, and we need a look at the Utah RB, who Shanny and Lynch thought highly of. Also excited about the possible/hopeful improvement of Garnett at guard. He won the Outland, no?
A draft strategy can be greatly affected by free agency. We have 100 million or say 80 after Jimmy gets paid. It's time we start to spend it.

Team needs
Offensive Line
WR
RB
TE
Edge
ILB
CB

Free Agency
Resign Reid, Let Hyde walk

Sign Davonte Freeman RB Atlanta
Sign Trea Turner Gaurd Panthers
Sign Malcolm Butler CB Patriots
Sign Sammy Watkins WR Rams or Allen Robinson WR Jaguars or Davonte Adams WR Packers

Draft trade down our top 5 pick for the Bills #18, 21, and 2nd around pick 50. Gives us 2 picks in rounds 1-3

Post Free Agency Priorities
Edge

18 Arden Key Leo LSU top 5 talent drops for character issues
21 Connor Williams OT Texas Staley eventual replacement
2- Braden Smith OG Auburn double down on OL

Does anyone know if we are picking #3 or #4 based on SOS? Conflicting reports. Doesn't really matter as the season isn't done but just curious
Wait for offers, evaluate the proposals and see if there is any worth a trade. If you like a player in that spot that position is more worthy than others.

Basically, depends on the situation.

#4 as it stands
I'd like to see us trading down and having 2 picks between 10-18. Take Roquan Smith and Calvin Ridley. Maybe Penny at the end of the 2nd.
Poll the WZ then do the opposte
