Will he last that long

No chance. Won't even make it to our late second rounder.
Hoping we draft him with one of our 2 first rd picks from the Bills.

I think some of you dudes miss the point on comments like this. Nobody is hating or regretting the trade. They're saying it's a great year to pick in the early 2nd. Just leave it there and move on.

ILB2 for me. If Roquon Smith is not the pick in the first, I'd have no complaints with keeping Foster at WILL and drafting his old teammate Evans at MIKE.

He is fast and tenacious. Can cover, can work through or around blocks, can absolutely blow a player up, and offers value in pass rush, both from A gap blitz and lined up on the edge. Added bonus of him knowing and playing with Foster; chemistry at the ILB cannot be understated.

Completely agree OP, Evans is definitely on my targets for round 2 (would likely need to trade up to get him).

There are a few very good LBs that can be had on Day 2. I like VanderEsch, Jerome Baker, and Dion-Hamilton too. Deluca is a nice day 3 small school guy as well. We really can go in a bunch of directions again this year. Plenty of holes to fill.

Bump. This guy has to be a possible solution and Foster replacement now.

Can he realistically be had in the early 2nd?

And what is the drop-off between him and the next best MLB?
He's solid but we can go about it many ways.

This.
I'd like to see Lynch sign ILB Preston Smith...he's a consistent playmaker and could replace Foster at MLB. He's just 26 and definitely in his prime. If Buffalo doesn't franchise him, I'd go after him. I'd still like to see Lynch draft Edmunds...love his size and range.
