I don't get their offense, they make it obvious that they are going to throw it to Julio Jones.....and then they throw it to Julio Jones.

Losing Kyle Shanahan has killed this offense.

They are a perfect illustration of the value of a top notch playcaller. When you watch Kyle call a game, he's always setting up plays for later on in the game, he's manipulating the defense and attacking from a variety of angles. In 2016 the Falcons basically threw the football to everyone. Last night it seemed like their entire offense was predicated on sweeps, forced throws to Jones and that was pretty much it.

True, but I wonder if any of the other Atlanta receivers were getting open? If Jones is open and the others aren't, it kind of limits your options.

Not to mention Matt Ryan just forcing passes to Julio Jones for most of the night also didn't help. Philly also continued to sniff out their running game, Freeman was pretty much a non-factor.

Sarkesian is pretty much a Hong Kong knock off of Kyle Shanahan at least that's the way I see it.

Absolutely. They thought they'd just roll out a new OC with kyles book and he'd do just fine. They need to make a change asap.

I told Atlanta fans that they never looked that good before and will never look that good again. He was the reason for that success of 2016. Dare I say, KS affect on Matt Ryan is greater than Mike's on Steve Young's.

On another note, too bad we sank so much money into the RB position in free agency. I'd love for us to have signed Tevin Coleman this offseason. Isn't he a free agent in 2019?

Would've loved to have Ridley, but I think Lynch and Shanahan made the right decisions. Love McGlinchey and Pettis. I just hope to see Beathard get Pettis more involved like Ryan did with Ridley. With Ridley stepping up, maybe they trade Julio Jones to the 9ers.
Not nearly enough talk about how good this guy has become.

Its crazy how garbage Atlanta manages to be even with a pretty good QB in Ryan and two stellar WR's in Julio Jones and Ridley.

About as well as Jaire Alexander did against Stefon Diggs here.
