He will. He didnt even play bad yesterday. If Hurts doesn't overthrow him in the endzone and flat out not see him on several other times he was wide open then we are talking about a guy with 80+ yards receiving and 2 TDs.

I think most scouts will have a somewhat different take on that game then people just box score surfing.

Its not a great WR class at the top and he's still one of the top two options.

You could almost say his numbers were hurts due to his QB play...

All 22 tape tells a different story than what we saw on TV.

I like him, but not top ten for sure.

agreed

Great. Hopefully he'll drop to the late second.
If the niners drafted Calvin at 9/10, it would be a shame. No more aj Jenkins tiny type wrs on this team please. I'd take Bourne over Ridley.

Calvin's route running prevents him being a bust in Kyle's system.

He might disappear in the redzone, which for me would be the shame you're talking about.

It's all down to the QB's and OT's could have as many of 6 of those picked ahead of us, if that happens we're getting an absolute stud, that won't be Ridley.

If it doesn't he might come into play, however if the Bears don't adequately address WR in FA he'll be a big target of theirs.

fans are always irrational. one game can sway tons of fans.

Especially the fans that only tune in once a year for the playoffs.

Some classic bowl game draft scouting analysis up in here. Happens ever year.
Ridley isn't better than plaxico burress, pass.

AJ Jenkins needed a boot to the ass to produce at Illinois. Ridley has been playing great since his freshman year despite awful QBing at Bama and lack of passing in the offense in general.

I would rather we go in another direction but the AJ Jenkins comparison is super lazy. Ridley would be a beast in Kyle's scheme.
Ridley can't run block and Ridley would get decapitated by today's nfl head hunters. No use in drafting someone that could possibly die on the field.

Today's headhunters get fined, tomorrow's head hunters will get suspended, with the CTE stuff WR's won't have that fear factor, anyways, what makes you say Ridley isn't tough?
You think dbs will change how they play? It's called intuitive instincts. They've trained to be a certain way, that won't change because of fines or suspensions.

Ridley is tough to you, but he's not tough to the dbs in the nfl. The kid will get broken.
He will get hit by Steve AT water, finished.

Did he not score in the RZ last night? The league is and has been littered with smaller receivers who have not disappeared in the RZ. Play design, play calling and execution is how you score in the RZ.

He needs to improve as a run blocker but he can run block. Luckily they have coaches in the NFL to help players improve on their weaknesses.

As for getting decapitated...again, this league is littered with guys who are similar in size or smaller and do just fine.

Even big receivers can and do get decapitated in football.
