Exactly!

If anything having your speed rusher on that side might be a further advantage due to RTs usually being less athletic than LTs?

I remember Von Miller did damage from that side when Ware was opposite.. Not sure what side he mostly rushes from now.

That's true, Khalil Mack predominantly rushes from the right as well.

The theory is that coming from the Blind side helps getting fumbles and unseen sacks, but pressure from anywhere helps a defence.
I am liking this kid, but 3 things:

1. Another defensive lineman????!!!
2. I can't see him falling to us
3. I also have 0 idea who would draft him before us either lol

Colts are first up at 3, though I think they trade down.

Browns could take him as a book end to Garrett.

Bucs are in desperate need of a pass rusher so I can't see him getting passed them.

If he does he's worth taking, granted it's another D-Lineman but he'd be the only one on our roster who can rush from the edge whilst also playing the run, he is also one of the only ones in the draft who could.

I'm concerned that I've seen him blocked 1-on1 by TE's and FB's, not just that it's happened, but that the OC would even be brave enough to give him out as an assignment to them.
Still my #1 choice in the draft

I'd pop a Chubb if we land chubb
If we secure Jensen, Norwell and a top CB like Talib, Fuller or Trumaine Johnson, would the FO be willing to move up for Chubb to nail down our 3 biggest needs?

I don't think so.. I feel they like him but think there's a better fit/value. Now if he slides.. That's a different story if he'd be BPA.

Thanks, sounds like hes more a Ray McDonald than an Aldon Smith! (not a horrible thing either)

I never though of that, Browns would be sick with that combo. I cant see him falling, same as Barkley.

He's much better than Ray McDonald (different type of rusher as well) I think someone like Everson Griffin, might be a better comp.

Not just a speed blazer, but wins with a mix of speed, power and technique.

a raymac without all the domestic issues would be a great pick. a lot of people outside the niner fandom don't really know how vital he was to the niners dominant defense during the harbaugh era.
Who would you take if Nelson, Roquan, Chubb, Barkley are all available at 10?

Chubb all day. We already have Smith who will be good and there is a stable of RB's in this draft deng near on par with Barkley and we can find Oline in FA. Not sure if there is a better pass rusher in the draft of FA then Chubb right now...
