Yep, this kid's got a nice burst off the edge...as the saying goes, you can never have too many pass rushers. Also like his motor...he doesn't give up, just keeps after it.

49ers take Pita Taumoepenu in round 6. Only started 4 games for Utah last season but had 7 sacks. Pass rushing specialist. 6-foot-1, 243 lbs

Kid has raw talent. Not an every down player but a pressure the QB specialist.
Can be pushed around but has lightning speed as an end rush.
Watch whole video. He's number 50.

Pita has prototypical SAM size and they may envision him being similar to Bruce Irvin. We'll see, but I like the explosiveness of the kid. Adequate arm length at 32 3/8 inches, not great but unlikely to have a significant effect for his likely role.
