I can't be serious WTF!!!
Check you out acting like you know what's being said between NFL teams. I mean if there weren't smokescreens, then tell me what the 49ers are gonna do in this upcoming draft? Shoot, tell me what are the Browns gonna do (with credible sources of course)?
Again, you still didn't answer my question on why teams don't just come out and announce who they are looking to DRAFT or boldly talk about their draft board?
I'm just surprised this is your question.
Telling people you think smokescreens exist requires the same amount of "insider knowledge" as saying they don't.
Chargers were rumored to be taking Ronnie Stanley last year...it was a smokescreen hoping to entice a team to trade up and get in front of Dallas/Jacksonville if they coveted Elliot or Ramsey.
The guy SD truly coveted was Bosa, but they did not want to let that cat out of the bag just in case he would slide to them if they could trade down.
Smokescreens are real in the draft process, teams are trying to misdirect the rest of the league because leaks do happen. Leaks don't always come from teams either, agents play a role in that too by feeding the media.
