Seriously. You want to move up from 12-2? Okay, give us #12, both of of your 2nds, and next year's 1st.

And maybe Joe Haden. Lol.
We going to have to wait until 5 15 before we know what's going on?

Sounds like we may be trading back. Just saw on NFL Network that up to 3 teams have contacted us about a trade out. Not bad.

Music to my ears if we have no shot at Garrett.

sure hope so!
This

Maiocco says six, lol.

Sure, but all it takes is 2 teams bidding for a QB and the value goes up even though they don't know for sure who they are bidding against. Both Chi and JAX have been rumored to target QBs so it's not a stretch to think that teams are vying to move up.

Yes but the assumption is that these teams would each like the same QB. That is uncertain. Any one of Watson, Trubisky or Mahomes could go first and nobody would bat an eye. This isn't like last year at #2 where it was obvious that Wentz would be the guy once it was clear that Goff was going #1.

Ok, but the teams don't know which QB each is moving up for. Heck, last year we didn't know if the Rams/Eagles were trading up for Goff or Wentz until the draft. I didn't see that change in value for either trade..

Honestly, #12, #33 and a first next year. Some would say that's too much but I don't care. Tell Cleveland we have five other teams talking with us and if they want to have their cake and eat it too, they need to win the bidding war.

I think The Jaguars, Bears, and (of course) the Browns are all set to be dumpster fires w/a shot at the #1 overall pick next year. Any trade down that secures on of those #1 picks would give the 49ers the flexibility to wait for Cousins next year, since the pick could get them the top QB in 2018 if Cousins isn't a 49er.

Next years draft is QB heavy imo.

Sam Darnold, USC
Josh Rosen, UCLA
Lamar Jackson, Louisville
Josh Allen, Wyoming
Luke Falk, Washington State
Jake Browning, Washington
Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma
Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State

I'm sure I'm missing a few. Obviously a lot can change with injuries, performance etc. but I think next years QB class is way better then this years.

I'm pretty sure you can find that exact same post last year with the current qb's available in this draft.
The only trade I can see happening is Panthers moving up for Fournette. Hard to see any other player worth trading up for.

I could get down with that. I don't think Cleveland will part with their 1st next year though. Maybe give up two of their three 2nd round picks in 2018

Adams would be a target.

Thats my take as well, but I also wouldn't be surprised if a number of those guys get downgraded by the time the 2018 draft comes around. "Next years" QB class always gets overhyped.

With the rumors of Watson going at #4 and now apparently Mahommes in the top 10, someone below 10 desperate for a QB may want to come up for Trubisky.

A long shot, but it's a possibility IMO.

Below 10, only realistic options are Cleveland and Arizona. Maybe New Orleans if they want to get a head start on developing a QB for life after Brees

That depends on what the Brows do. If they go with Garrett, like I think they will, there will be a bidding war for Trubyski at 2. The Bears will no doubt take him at 3 if we don't (and I hope to God we don't).
With news of Mahomes going Top 10.....is there a chance he is in play for us at 2nd overall? I think that would be pretty dope, I love the kid.
