What would you give up to trade up to #1 for Myles Garrett? | Page 3

Just curious how other people feel about this and how much that Rams win potentially cost us in the draft. I would give up most or all of our 2017 draft class for Myles Garrett which is the equivalent of our #2 pick and another first round draft pick in the 10-15 range based on the draft value chart. That win against the Rams cost us a 1st round pick as far as I'm concerned. We have money to spend on free agents and adding Garrett would change our defense. I'd prefer not to give up a future first round pick, because I'd like to keep a high first round pick next year to draft a QB. We'd be sacrificing the 2017 season by not drafting a QB or trading for one, but getting a higher draft pick next year and fixing the defense may be worth it.

I think Trubisky is going #1. I might be the only person on the planet, but there are simply too many QB-starved teams out there.

I think the Jets will move up to one to grab Trubisky. As stated in another thread, the Browns have traded down in the first round 4 of the past 8 years, and they are stockpiling picks. At 6 and 12 and a number one next year, along with the bounty of picks this year, they could make a serious move to redo their entire roster

Lets all realize these are the Cleveland browns we're all talking about. They've been drafting in the top 10 more than any other team over the last 25 years and have proven year after year that they are going to blow it.

Myles. The only other player I would consider is Watson, just because of the value at QB. With Allen's shoulder and Foster's weekend mess, it is time to reconsider my board. I am sure many feel the same way too.

I live in Central Ohio, and most of my friends are Browns' fans. If the Browns can screw up the draft, they will screw up the draft.

I would give up nothing. Pick at #2 the best available player. It will be hard to trade down. Because other teams won't find something compelling enough to want the #2 pick that bad.

Oh MD, you hurt my heart. If Garret is there, and the Titans come calling, that's 2 1st round picks at least (both of which we could move as well). Still would prefer taking MG over the ability to significantly infuse the team with talent at multiple positions?

I love MG, hell, who doesn't, but he could potentially be worth a lot.
