With the way people are talking you could probably get Kaaya with our 3rd Round pick. I know things will change in the next few months but his name is not being said with the top 5 QBs.

Why? Just an option, and a solid qb. I don't think we find our franchise qb in this draft any way... I am of the mindset of drafting a qb this year and next year and maybe the year after that...

a solid QB if you like a QB that completely crumbles under pressure and abandons all mechanics when the pocket gets even a tiny bit muddy.

As long as we don't take one at #2 I'm good. Don't see any qbs worthy of a top 10 pick this year. I'd rather get the bpa at #2 and a qb later, doesn't necessarily have to be Kaaya. Throw some options out there...

No on Kaaya...better options available. If you're going to draft a WR named Ross, make sure it's John Ross from WA. Like the Beckworth pick...but think drafting DL needs to happen sooner than 6th/7th rd. Garrett's a great player, but to be able to produce at the NFL level, the Niners need a stud NT to give Armstead & Buckner some help, which in turn makes it easier to create opportunities to rush the passer.

Covers all the positions of most need, but could get better players IMO. Like Garrett, Beckwith, and Johnson picks. Don't think Kaaya is the solution at QB.

Good input, I definitely will tweak my mock. I'll probably get killed for this but I really like Mahomes from TT more than Kaaya, not sure where he falls in ranking due to his college offense. I think Fred Ross(sleeper) will be a steal at WR, I like Ross at Washington too he'll be gone earlier than that though. I'd prefer pick up a NT in free agency.

Me either necessarily, may have reached a bit on that one. My long term thinking is draft a qb in the next couple of drafts until we find 1 or 2. We definitely don't have anything we can depend on right now and big holes all over the place.
