You pretty much did nothing to upgrade the WR position, yeah I like Josh Evans but Brian Quick, 49ers need to spend a little more than that to upgrade the position. Brock needs to be shown the door ASAP!!! Jay Cutler, you want Watson to learn from Jay Cutler?
And if Watson is that close to being had in the 2nd round, I don't think I would've traded up for him, but that's just me.
The above videos are auto-populated by an affiliate.
Not bad. I may be in the minority but I get the logic behind Cutler

Why does everyone think we can trade Tank for anything but a ham sandwich? He's a bust for the worse team in the NFL.

Agreed. We pretty much use him as a 4-3 DE and he's still terrible.

Very unfortunate. He was a draft crush of mine. Had he not been injured and gone to a team that would use him properly he could have been great. But now, he's damaged goods.
I stopped reading at Cutler.
Outside of the plan for the GM I can't get behind any of it....get that cutler crap out of here lol. Tank has zero worth in a trade IMO. I can't see anyway Watson makes it all the way to like the 30th pick either.

Like you other mocks

yeah, Cutler and Watson really isn't better than Kap/Gab
CUTLER?
i don't see us trading up from our second round pick to get Watson, unless we dont have the #2 picking order and, he is "the guy" and we think the Browns will take him

I get the Jay Cutler criticism, but it's easy to point the finger and say "no I don't like it" without offering an alternative solution.

Kizer or Trubisky - not worth a top 5-10 pick, but will get chosen in the top 5-10. Myles Garrett >>> QB

Trade for Jimmy G - nope, don't trust Pats QBs. Don't want to give up the draft picks.

Mike Glennon - accuracy and consistency issues (sound familiar...)

Tony Romo - too old, wants to play for a winner...never would come here

Brian Hoyer - hell no, too inconsistent

Colin Kaepernick/Blaine Gabbert - we need to move on from the Baalke QBs

Trade for a Bryce Petty, Brett Hundley, or Tom Savage QB - doesn't exactly solve our QB woes.

Draft a QB in the late 1/early 2 instead of the top 5 - done...Watson.

---

Cutler actually showed a lot of progress under Adam Gase in the 2015 season. I think Chip Kelly can harness that progress he made within his QB-friendly offense. We are not asking Cutler to take 7 step drops and hold the ball for an extended period of time. We will ask him to hit on the short and mid-range throws, and selectively go deep.

Give Cutler an offensive line for protection, and Cutler will provided our badly needed chunk plays.

Sorry man just can't get behind Cutler and I don't think anyone else can lol. It would be a slap in the face to have this fool starting in 2017.

SO you don't trust NE QBs based off Matt Cassel? They're completely different players. One was a backup in college and a 7th round pick the other was a 2nd round pick and broke all of Tony Romo's records in college along with showing promise when on the field.

Why not give up a 2nd this yr and a conditional pick in 2018? If he was in this yrs draft he'd be the top prospect by far (at QB)

We have a ton of draft picks and a ton of young prospects, why not give up a pick or two for a QB that's been groomed behind on of the best? FYI Watson isn't lasting until the 30th pick in the draft no way.

I've actually mocked a trade for Jimmy G in one of my previous ones. There was strong push back on the board for that trade.

Well they need to get over that s**t lol....it would be the best possible move for us, we get a top 2 prospect AND a great QB prospect that's so much further along developmental wise compared to the guys in this draft.

People can't have their cake and eat it too ya know? He's gonna cost us a couple draft picks so be it...what have the past draft picks gotten for us lol?

Time to get aggressive, make trades, move up for who you want, and give out some bigger end contracts....Building through the draft is the preferred choice but when your GM messes up draft after draft that's the next move.
1st time i really stopped reading a mock . Jay Cutler? Major pass on this entire off season once i saw that
i would like this offseason a lot
