You bit! Lol

Hook line & sinker lol...I've haven't been pushing for SF to draft him, but to think he's not a first rd pick is silly.

Love it when people say random dumb stuff just to get a reaction annnd then he doesn't even follow up with any explanation.

It's typical around here lol
I really really really really want us to use our 2nd round pick on him, if for some reason he is available. Hopefully teams think we are set with Hyde and don't try to jump in front of us.

He has legit breakaway speed (you don't see that much in the NFL) and he breaks tackles.

any other player that plays a different position..that yall feel is more worth it than him, that might be available late 1st round, early 2nd?

He was charged with battery for allegedly punching a woman back in 2015 but was found not guilty a month later. He also some time before that was cited for mistreating pit bull puppies. Apparently it had something to do with a chain too tight around their necks and them being unable to move.

Since all of that he seems to have kept his neck clean. Teams will have to do their homework on him.

Looking at him purely as a prospect though, he would be a natural fit in Shanahan's running scheme. He has the vision and burst to hit those cutback lanes and also offers good hands in the receiving game. He would be a great compliment to Hyde in the Kyle Shanahan running game. Hopefully his character checks out and he's more mature now than he was a couple of years ago.
A player like cooks makes me wish even more that we went after Olivier Vernon. I get it though. That 17 million a year is steep, but if only we had Vernon. Or Carradine worked out. I'd be confident in going offense on back to back picks if any other the preceding happened.
What in the world are you guys smoking to think that Cook is not worthy of a 1st round pick, and seem to think that he can be had in the 2nd round?!?!

This guy is the real deal, easily one of the best RBs to come out in a while...mark my words, he will be all pro for years.
Dalvin Cook went to the same high school and college as Devonta Freeman.
Dalvin Cook last year at FSU 2200 yards and 20 tds.
Devonta Freeman last year FSU 1300 yards 15 tds.
Shanahan could bang the draft table for him.
Dalvin Cook would be an absolute assasin in Shanny's offense. You mesh his vision of the field, elite speed with those cutback lanes OMG look out!
Have the niners ever drafted a 1st rd RB? It always seems like you can find good RBS later in the draft lol. But I do think cook would be money in shanahans offense.

The highest I can think of is Ricky Watters who was taken in the second. Roger Craig was a 2nd round running back as well. Depending on what's offered, and if we actually acquire a QB, making a move to get say Cook and Williams/Davis would be solid.

Yes the Niners drafted some first round busts Flagler and Dexter Carter. Love Cook, but I agree with the majority that we should wait later in the draft since it's a deep crop.
Taking a running back in the first is a total luxury pick, you only do it if your team is beyond stacked or in the late first round. There's a reason high end Running backs are paid 7-10 mil while QBs and pass rushers are paid 20 mil and up. Top running backs are always found in the mid rounds and free agency. People are getting too caught up in the Elliot pick. zeke might not even be the best RB in his draft, Jordan Howard's stats are almost better than Zekes and he didn't have that insane o line. 5th round rb too.

Dalvin Cook looks really good but we're not in the position to take him.
