I don't see us picking up more than 2-3 FA.

We definitely need some but IMO we won't go that direction.

I think Carolina treats contracts like New England. They put what they deem a fair price on someone and don't break off of it.

I liked Matt Millers on what should happen in our offseason. I tweaked it a bit by trading Carlos Hyde to Oakland, signing Darren McFadden and drafting De'Veon Smith out of Michigan.

Lol at the idea that Hyde is worth a 3rd round pick with one year left on his rookie deal (UFA in 2018). Who is going to give up a 3rd round pick for potentially a 1 year rental of an injury prone RB? They'd be better off drafting a RB in a very strong RB class.

Don't hold your breath on the 49ers signing great free agents. York is a tightwad and the 49ers organization is known as a nightmare around the league making SF a not very attractive destination for talented free agents. The immediate future looks pretty sad. Front office turmoil. Ownership a joke. No proven franchise QB. A Head Coach retread running a team that gets worse every year.

We need a miracle.

Why the hell would Joe Montana want to put in 12-16 hour days as a GM? He can make $1MM walking onto a commercial set. Beyond that, what skill has he ever demonstrated in evaluating and acquiring talent?
