He's my favorite WR prospect in the draft...he might get pushed into the 1st though.

Unless he falters in his combine workouts, I don't think he'll be there in the 2nd. If he is however, the team should certainly take a look. We are desperate for a legitimate receiving threat with size and have been for years.

As much as I would like it if the niners don't grab a qb at 1 they have to grab one in the 2nd or trade back up.

Matt Miller just had him going in the 3rd, lol. Sometimes, that dude's crazy.

lol I mean it's early, but dude has it all IMO. CBS has him as the 53rd overall prospect. I don't see him getting out of the top 50. We could always moving back into the 2nd if we really want him or someone like Sutton (if he declares) a lot of big WRs in this draft which is something we need.

Agree
We are also desperate, IMO, for a QB and Pass Rusher.
So many holes to fill.

Jed York should make Trent Baalke give him a list of WRs he would draft. And then give that list to the new GM and tell him to not draft any of those recievers.

I also believe that he will be the 1st Wr drafted but if he is on our board in the 2nd I say pull the plug. With the expense of still looking for a qb. And yes I've seen every 49ers game since redzone and Sunday ticket came out so I know our most glaring need but players like D.Hop, Josh Gordon and Marshall and a few others made their qb look admirable for a short period of time

Yeah the "let's use early picks on WR's" and ignore QB approach has worked out fantastically for Houston. Now they have two quality receivers but had to overpay in free agency for a mediocre QB who struggles to get the ball to them.

Please don't twist my words because I know our biggest flaw is our qb play but with the money and 10 draft picks and also a few tradeable assets we can find a way to get 2 picks in the 2nd round

He should go early, the WR class is kind of thin. Safety is loaded this coming year, would be a good year to draft DB's kind of like 2014 & 2015 were for WR's

And the reality is that they may need those added picks to move up for a QB, which along with pass rusher should be the priority. After that you look at addressing WR, assuming you haven't done so in free agency.
