Rams deal is the best thing to happen for the niners!

Agreed with our pick becoming more valuable as well as Tennessee in great position to slide up, if Stanley is there. I think either them or Oakland would be the two likely trade back partners but I'm only willing to do that if Buckner is gone.
yup, those two QBs are a joke
I have to agree, it gives us more trading power with one of the elite players guaranteed to fall to us now... Stanley and Elliot are going to be the trade bait. If Buckner, Jack, or Bosa fall its going to be hard to not pull the trigger. I'm not a huge Bosa fan BTW, but his hands and attack at the point are elite, I worry about his drive to be great though!
Let's just hope Baalke can capitalize.
I think Baalke is breathing a sigh of relief now he can focus on the rest of the team on positions that will give us a quicker impact and then find a QB to develop in the later rounds. I wouldn't be surprised if he extends Gabbertt for another year or 2 in case he has a good season. Kelly's system makes QBs better than they actually are we can win with an average QB and a dominating defense.
Lol at the idea that our pick is somehow more valuable as a result of this trade.

NFL teams clearly value Wentz/Goff quite highly if the Rams were willing to give up that much to trade up for one of them. Our pick would have been more valuable if one of the QB's made it to 7 somehow. Instead we're likely to get the 6th or 7th BPA (we still have no shot at Tunsil and not much of a shot at Ramsey).

Whoever the Rams pick at #1 would not have made it to #7 anyways so this doesn't really impact the 49ers at all other than that the team trading up is in our division.
We're fooling ourselves if we think we don't need a QB.... Baalke been drafting defense 1st round almost every year...and still can't produce a top offense.

We need to focus on offense for once

Whatever the Rams did wont effect us unless we draft the right players.. All they did is the best move they feel for the team by moving 1st and gets the chance to draft a QB of their choice instead of "wishing that they can land a Brady or a Wilson" between Lynch and/or Cook.

so in my opinion, they made the right decision by going after the draft.. now, they get the 1st kick!!
I'm more excited we might get a blue chip defensive player now.

This. 49ers could end up with the leftovers of Bosa and Stanley. Both of whom I feel pretty meh about.

With Stanley there are questions about his commitment and work ethic, with Bosa there have been character questions as well as potential scheme fit. None of those are what you want in a Top 10 pick.

what are his characters questions? work ethic or trouble with the law?

Honestly I don't think Bosa can fit in our scheme but its hard to deny that talent. if Bosa was the only blue chip player left, Id pull the trigger. Stanley is riddled with bust potential.
