The WIN NOW 4 round draft that could see this team be in top 15 for Offense.

This is a draft based upon the premise that Kaepernick stays with the team. CK7 needs a dominate running game to help him and the offensive line. Hyde is awesome, but a 1-2 punch is necessary.

Pick 7 Ezekal Elliot RB Ohio State- Will help make the OL and qb look better. Great compliment to Hyde.
Pick 38 Hunter Henry TE- The niners get the top RB and TE in the draft. The redzone and third downs stall the niners. Hunter Henry and Elliot will make the offense entertaining again.
3rd round- Shedon Day DT Notre Dame- Niners get lucky, draft is so deep at DT they get a gem in Day.
4th round- Kyle Murphy OT Stanford.
4th round compensatory- Vernon Adams qb Oregon.

The exciting thing is the toop 4 picks all will have a chance to play a lot in the upcoming season. The top TE, RB can only help Kaepernick or Gabbert and the OL.

I appreciate the different style of thinking, but I would lose my mind if this happened and would have holes in my living room walls from the beers I would be chucking at each pick.

x2. Part time player in the 1st, yet another TE in the 2nd when we have yet to see how McDonald,Celek and Bell look in this offense.

Elliott would be an upgrade over Hyde but its not like Hyde has been terrible when healthy. To me the best way to get a better run game is to get a better OL.
RB is one of the only positions where I think we have our long-term starter in place. I know Elliot is a great player, but I don't think he helps us as much as some other guys that will be available.
To get lucky wee would need Docston to fall into the 2nd and hunter to round 3
instead of Hunter, id say lets go with a WR in the second. If so, this mock would be solid.

I think having a 2 headed monster at RB would do wonders for Gabbert and our offense

You don't draft a RB at 7 to split carries.

I bet Elliot could surpass Hydes career stats as a rookie. Career198 carries for 837 yards 4 yard average 7 TD's in 2 season.s Yeah we could not use the top RB in the draft.

You dont take a part time player with a Top 10 pick.

Hyde looked good whenever he had competent blocking. I saw him get hit in the backfield so many times that it is hard to blame the RB when the OL wasnt getting any push.

They are fine with Hyde, just need to add some more people to block for him.

your basically throwing away your 2nd round pick from 2013 lol and no he wouldn't surpass those number splitting carries lol.

Hyde looked great when healthy last year and was 2nd in the league with yards after contact...it would be a waste when we have positions to fill and there are players that can fill those holes, sorry it would be a horrible move.

Remember when JH picked Aldon Smith and used him as a situation pass rusher during his rookie season?

Just sayin' it could be done, at least we would have a quality RB after Hyde gets hurt from now on.

With all that said, I am not really into drafting a RB at #7 overall.
With the acquisition of Beadles, the OL has improved some, but not enough. There's still a hole at RG...I've heard some raves WRT Tiller, but I'm not sold he's really a starter. I think Trent Brown is the starting RT. Anthony Davis is still a mystery...says he wants to return but has done nothing to that end. All that said, job 1 is to reestablish the OL to something close to the one Harbaugh enjoyed, with or without AD. So, it would seem imperative to upgrade the OL before any more RB's are added. As of now, there's Hyde, Draughn, Harris, Hayne & Davis...with an upgraded OL, this group should function very well in Kelly's offense. Instead of Elliot, Baalke should draft either the best OL or DL on the board.

I'd agree with others who think Celek, VMac, Bell and Busta Anderson should be more than adequate in Kelly's offense. So, instead of Henry, Baalke should pick the top OL (if not done in rd 1), top WR or top DL if not taken in rd 1. Building up both lines is critical to success of both the offense and defense.

Day is a fine pick at #3 (if still on the board)...the stronger the DL the better, because everything on defense is predicated on how well the front line plays.

Murphy might be a good pick at #4...but hopefully, Baalke will have already drafted a top OG/OT before this pick.
