Love this mock draft though I do think that we will have to move up to get Buckner and I am totally down with moving up to get him. The pressure he will create will instantly make the whole defense better. One on one matchups for the LB's and the DB's will not be chasing WR's forever.

Ehh I don't see the need to move up here's how I see it going down

Tunsil
Goff
Ramsey
Wentz-reports are he's top 3 on their big board
Jack
Bosa
Buckner
I hope you're right. I really think though that there's a good chance that the chargers grab him instead of Ramsey

I don't think Ramsey will make it to the Chargers at all, but if he does, he's their pick. He's in play for the top overall pick or the #2 pick if the Titans go with Tunsil. Best player in the draft. I'm rooting for Wentz/Goff or Jack/Buckner if neither QB makes it to 7. Wouldn't be mad if we trade up slightly for a QB, just not all the way to #1 or #2.
early in the draft season this is how I saw the 1st 7 picks going.

1. Tennessee: Laremy Tunsil Ol (Ole Miss)
2. Cleveland: Jared Goff QB (Cal)
3. San Diego: Joey Bosa DL (Ohio state)
4. Dallas: Myles Jack ILB (UCLA)
5. Jacksonville: Jalen Ramsey CB (Florida State)
6. Baltimore: Ronnie Stanley OL (Notre Dame)
7. San Francisco: Deforest Buckner DL (Oregon)

This is how I see the 1st 7 picks going now.

1. Tennessee: Laremy Tunsil. They have to protect their franchise QB.
2. Cleveland: Goff, Wentz, or Ramsey. I don't really think RGIII is the answer at QB, but if Cleveland decides to go full Cleveland and ride with him next season Ramsey fills a hole in their backfield.
3. San Diego: Ramsey or Buckner. which position is more of a need " You make the call."
4. Dallas: Bosa or Jack: Bosa seems to fit the Cowboy's 4-3 scheme and with an often injured Sean Lee, Jack seems like a good fit as well.
5.Jacksonville: Ramsey, Bosa, Jack. which ever one makes it to number 5 will work.
6.Baltimore: Stanley or Buckner. Stanley fill their biggest need imo but Buckner works too.
7. San Francisco: Buckner, Goff, Wentz, Jack. In that order. who makes it to them is the question.

You'll be lucky to get more that one player right. Simple math.

Great comment...

I'd rather take Buckner then bosa and not have to trade up.

I like your mock. Unlike many others I've seen I feel this is fairly realistic especially with Goff being gone at 7.

The 49ers would have one of the tallest and biggest DL's in the NFL if they got Buckner to pair with Armstead.

Thanks man! I tried following cbs rankings, look at need vs value, and players that we've seemed interested in.

Nice draft glad you finally realize it's almost a lock the Rams jump in front of us and we all know Trent isn't giving up our 2nd or 3rd to move up.

Not everyone has released 1,462 mock drafts to work through their thought process yet. Besides, Lynch had a very good pro day, and Fisher has proven to be a giant idiot as it pertains to the QB position. No telling what LA actually does at the position, to include jumping up for one of the top 2, staying pat at 15 and taking Lynch/Cook, drafting QB after the 1st round, or actually rolling with Keenum. The only thing that would surprise me would be them trading for Kap. They'd have to throw a ton at Trent to keep Kap in the division, and Kap hasn't exactly played his best against them or the rest of the division.

Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if they gave up their 3rd to move up to 5...they've traded with Dallas in the past. I wouldn't hate it. I just don't see them moving up past the Browns.

I'd be pumped if the draft went anything like this and I'm fine with moving up in spots to get the player they've been targeting. This is the draft to do it IMO.

Not quite that many I just like looking at different scenarios. Doesn't matter anyway Baalke will draft 4 or 5 guys no one has ever heard of. No one can predict where he will go.

I still see us trading back, Balke has to be salivating over getting an extra 2nd round pick. We could potentially find 2 day 1 starters in round 2. If we trade back and take the best defensive player in round 1 then we could grade a combination of Whitehair, Spriggs, Kelly or Garnett in round 2. I think that would be more valuable than Buckner alone.

Has anyone ever graded any of the mock drafts of the so called experts? I wonder how far most get before they miss one?

thats not fair and thats not how draft experts should be analyzed

they should bean analyzed how many of there top 100 players got drafted in top 100

out of all the first round grades given how many went in first round

etc

Yup this is true and could happen...IMO I think the most likely way they trade back is if the know they player they are targeting will be there in the trade back (like last year). I wouldn't expect them to trade down very far though.

I really really like Buckner though...When I was checking out AA's highlights last year #44 was all over the place and I didn't think there would be anyway we'd be able to draft him (I thought he'd be a top 3 pick) I watched a lot of his games this season and he didn't disappoint...getting someone like Buckner and Garnett would be monster picks in rebuilding the trenches.
Yea I like him but I would rather trade back and get a Lawson and a Spriggs or Garnett and still have another pick in round 2. I want us to get as many picks as we can in rounds 1-3. I wouldn't mind 2 trade backs and we take a Jackson CB, Alexander, Coleman or Doctson. Then hit the lines in rounds 2 and 3. We should be able to trade back to 18-19 area and pick up an extra 2 and 3.

I wouldn't mind that if Kelly is sold on Lynch trading back to 15 with LA and letting them have Goff we take lynch and their pick 45. It's a perfect trade points wise 1500=1500. If we don't like Goff we should want him in LA.

How often if ever do teams trade within their division? I just can't see that ever happening.
