Trade Up From #37

If we go qb in round 1 and Treadwell or Doctson fall and are there around 26th or so than I say pull the trigger and get your future qb a weapon, but if we go anything other than qb than I say stay pat and take bpa
If we think Whitehair is significantly better than Garnett and Westerman and he is there in the mid to late 20s, he is worth trading up for. Potentially getting Buckner and him, arguably the two best prospects at positions of need, would be huge, IMO
I think if a guy is available after day 1 that we have a first round grade on then yeah trade up and get him. I was thinking about trading up from rd 3 to get back into the 2nd to ensure we get a top notch guard.

1. Goff
2. BPA @ Dlineman (Butler, Billings, Bullard, Jones)
3. Trade up to get BPA @ oline
1. Buckner
2. Trade up for Spence
move up for Butler
I'm still a trade down for Lawson or Dodd then trade back into the first for Doctson, Ragland or Spence

That would be a solid move. I saw Lawson mocked to us at 7 in one of the NFL Network analyst's mocks and although I think Baalke may like him a lot, I think that's too early. I'd be all for trading back to get him if Buckner is gone

Assuming you aren't in love with one of the QB's, that makes the most sense to me

I've seen Lawson go as high as #9 to Bucs with several mocks having him go to the Bears at #11. If Buckner is off the board at #7, I'd be fine with Lawson there if Baalke feels he's the guy. If Niners don't go Goff at #7, I' like to see:
1. Buckner/Lawson
2. Garnett
3. Prescott
4. Carroo

Just to add on Carroo, he'll probably go RD3, so Niners would have to move up if they want him. If not then WRs Keyarris Garrett or Charone Peake will be there in the 4th, or Mike Thomas in RD6.
If the team really likes a guy I really don't' care if they draft him 5 or 6 spots than most would consider him being drafted. Get your man
If, IF, Lawson is every bit as good as Buckner, then yeah, I'd do it and move back into Rd 1 for a second impact player. I'm not sure Lawson is an impact player, but feel pretty confident Buckner is. Do NOT want to squirrel away a guaranteed impact player for a guy wiht any quesiton marks. And Lawson strikes me as an excellent player, but is he impact? IF not, then no, don't make the trade. Does sound like something Trent would or might do, but he better be darn sure Lawson is a for sure IMPACT player.
I would like to see us trade back into the 1st for S. Calhoun and Miles / Tunsil @ 7
