Even if the Jets wanted Kaepernick, I dont see any situation where they offer anything better than a 3rd round pick. Why overpay? The same reasons why Kaepernick isnt a great fit for Kelly's offense apply to Gailey's offense as well. Both horizontal passing timing offenses.
I realize this but if they both stay true to their numbers it won't happen. The broncos may go the fitz route rather than our route and giving us what we want in picks. No way they go with sanchez and they likely miss out on a top 3 qb prospect. Jets have no cap and you're assuming fitz isnt asking for multiple years on that contract as well as other high demands.
Hoyer and sanchez aren't going to help the broncos and they are not going to have a lucky streak in the post season with those type of qb numbers again. lol
Elway is smart enough to realize this however. Thankfully for them and us.
Good coaches play to their players strengths so if they get desperate and give us a 2nd due to supply and demand then expect them to tweak their offense to fit what they would like to do.
