Assumptions: Baalke actively trades in the draft to get key individuals that he's been targeting - making up for the inactivity in free agency. The trades I propose are generally in line with the draft value chart and consistent with Baalke's historical draft trades. As long as Baalke secures a QB in the early rounds, Kap will be traded. He was a Harbaugh guy and he wants nothing to do with Kap anymore. DE/OLB pass rush isn't as grave of a need assuming you give Carradine and Harold the 2017 season to showcase their skills with ample on-field time. DL will be a bigger priority with Dorsey and Williams injuries. NFL Draft: Trade #1: 49ers trade 1st and 3rd for Ravens 1st round pick. We overpay to secure Goff vs. Rams. R1: Jared Goff - QB - Cal | Tough minded QB that competes with Gabbert for the starting gig. Trade #2: 49ers trade 2nd for Vikings 2nd and 3rd round picks. We recoup our lost pick in the Goff trade ala Baalke fashion. MN trades up to select Lee or Cravens - OLBs. R2: Christian Westerman - OG - Arizona St (via MIN) | Athletic and strong, Westerman immediately starts at RG and fits in the zone scheme. Trade #3: 49ers trade 3rd and 5th (via DAL) for Patriots 2nd round pick (via ARI). Pats have two 2nd round picks and have generally traded down to hoard more draft picks R2: Deion Jones - ILB - LSU (via NE thru ARI) | Speedy LB that can tackle and cover to rotate between Bowman, Hodges, and Wilhoite. R3: Josh Ferguson - RB - Illinois (via MIN) | Speedy scat back that will be our Sporles in Kelly's offense. Trade #4: 49ers trade Colin Kaepernick and 5th round pick for Broncos 3rd round pick and conditional 2017 draft pick. R3: Maliek Collins - DT/DE - Nebraska (via DEN) | Good bull rusher on passing downs with some flex as a 3-4 DE. Trade #5: 49ers trade 4th round pick to Eagles for Josh Huff - WR. Eagles signed Randle to pair with their existing core of WRs. Huff is a Kelly player from Oregon and we give them the best offer to secure Huff on our team. I don't see good value at WR this late in the draft. R4: Alex McCalister - DE/LB - Florida (comp) | Long arms? Check. Tall? Check. Power? Check. Threat? Check Off-field issues? Check. Sounds like a Baalke pick to me. R5: Deiondre' Hall - CB/S - Northern Iowa (comp) | Tall lanky DB that can play CB or S in the NFL. ST contributor in year 1. R6: Jake Brendal - C - UCLA (via SD) | Likely to land on PS but competes with Martin as backup. R6: Tyler Johnstone - OT - Oregon | Likely PS candidate but competes with Davis and Brown for starting RT spot. Can also play LT as a backup to Staley. R6: Termarrick Hemmingway - TE - South Carolina St. (comp) | Could be our next Delanie Walker? Competes for a spot. McDonald is on the bubble. R6: Alonzo Russell - WR - Toledo (comp) | PS guy but provides insurance for Smelter and others. Post-Draft FA Signings: All 1 year deals Terrance Knighton - NT - Redskins: Insurance to Williams and Dorsey. A true 2 gap NT. Zach Brown - ILB - Titans: Potential upgrade to Wilhoite. That is a good start for a rebuild

All that goes out the window if they grade either Wentz and/or Goff as a franchise QB. I believe Wentz may be, but Goff is not

A high 3rd round pick to move up one spot I don't think Balle would do that at gunpoint. I think he would go ahead and trade back with the Rams instead and let them have him.

I don't see Westerman as a 2nd round pick though, He could be had in the 3rd IMO. Ferguson is a 5th round prospect on CBS sports not sure what rankings your going off of? I'd rather go heavy on defense especially with the best positions in the draft being DL/LB and grab a COP later. I really don't see much more in FA happening especially players that would be starting.

I think jones can be had later also.
