Brandt wrote that "[Wentz] had two 55-yard passes that were as pretty as I've seen." The analyst also compared the 6-foot-5, 237-pound gunslinger to Joe Flacco. Sports Illustrated's Chris Burke noted that Wentz connected on 63-of-65 passes during his throwing session. For all of that strong work, even Wentz cannot control the weather, as 14 teams were waylaid by a snowstorm that prevented them from reaching Fargo. According to NFL Media, the only head coach present to watch Wentz light the universe aflame was Browns HC Hue Jackson.

It's funny how every QB that has a good pro day it is the best he's ever seen.
Obviously all the Cal fans on this board have a hard on for Goff

He's not Aaron Rodgers folks
Kelly or balked were not at wentz pro day. interesting. smokescreen?
Myles Jack wont will not stop the opposing team from scoring 28 on us..

Told ya people would be all over wentz's nuts just like everyone was on Goffs Also I don't remember anyone saying that after Goffs Pro Day. Would love either but I think wentz just offers more.

Our QB coach was there...14 teams couldn't get people there because of weather I guess.

Also remember Baalke actually coached at NDSU so he knows the program and might have some inside info

Nice good point. I would take either wentz or goff. Lets trade Kap already.

IMO best thing to do is hold on to him until draft day...if we get wentz or Goff let him go to the Broncos for a 3rd. Plus having him on the team come draft day lets Baalke hold his cards to his chest, people might not assume they go QB with Kap still on the roster.

But everybody knew that Rodgers would be an absolute stud, which is why he got drafted in the back of the 1st round.

Ol/Lb/DE/Cb (whatever falls to us) in the 1st.. I sure hope it's myles Jack it would be the best move to make us competitive faster.imho

You might be right on not taking a QB in the 1st...but a LB would make us more competitive faster than a QB?

Hue probably takes Wentz at #2, the 2 obstacles preventing Goff making it to #7 are the Cowboys taking him at #4 or a team trading up past Niners to #6 (Rams being most likely). Either of these could happen, though I think the Cowboys aim for Cook in the top of 2nd and take Bosa at #4. As far as the Rams, they would have to surrender both of their 2nd RD picks to move up to #6 or they could take Lynch at #15 (he might even slide to 2nd RD). I lean to Wentz, but don't feel he's in play for Niners at #7. If both QBs go before #7, increases chances of Buckner falling to Niners.

They are keeping Kaep

Says who???

If they were intent on keeping him they never would have let his agents negotiate with other teams.

Kaepernick is gone sooner or later, dont see his presence on or off the roster deterring them from drafting a QB early or late. They will trade him with the first decent offer they get.

Rodgers had a better arm than Alex, everyone knew that. Rodgers learning behind Favre was a major contributor to his success.
