Jimmy Ward was drafted when Harbaugh was still here, we weren't in a rebuild situation at that point...so if you want to get technical, our first rebuilding year was last year. You're giving up on Armstead after one season?

First of all...it's YOU'RE.

What ripple do you want Baalke to make? Sean Smith? He CHOSE the Raiders over the 49ers because that team is in a much better place....sadly.

The NFL is win now for the uneducated fan that doesn't realize that when your team is in a rebuilding mode, like the Niners are, that we need to improve through young players in the draft. It takes time, just like we started doing 10/11 years ago. It pays off. Just like we saw it in 2011. It's been proven time and time and time again that spending a ton of money in free agency, like some of these fans want us to do, does not work.

Of course the x-factor in all of this is can Baalke draft well, can Kelly coach, and will everything come together like it did for Harbaugh? Harbaugh came into an extremely talented team that was built primarily through the draft. Kelly doesn't even come close to having that situation.

yes but free agency gives you options in the draft. at this piont we have no other option but oline. with out a decent one itys going to get harder and harder to watch
