I agree with taking Garrett. But it's really hard to project the next year's crop at any position. People always fall off or pop up out of nowhere.

Better to take Garrett available now than gamble with next year's crop

Myles is not 260lbs, he looks more like 240-250.
If he isn't 6'5 260 as he is listed, could this hurt his draft stock? Also, is he an OLB in the 3-4 since it looks like he is playing a 4-3 DE position for A&M?

uhhh, he's an easy 260 IMO. his entire body, especially his lower half, is thick and muscled. i wouldn't be surprised if he's closer to 270. the guy is an absolute freak show.
and yes, he'll play OLB for us. he already plays in a 2-point stance from time to time at a&m.

I only ask because colleges always lie about their players measurements.
I hope we get him, this would make up for Aldon Smith.

He's easily 260+ and he reportedly weighed in over 270 earlier in the season.

The majority of 3-4 OLBs in the NFL played DE in college. Garrett has absurd athleticism and explosiveness. With as much as A&M has moved him around, I have zero doubt that he could excel at DE or OLB.

Would have been the best pass rusher last year also.
