Myles Garrett - Edge Rusher

QB is always gonna get pushed up regardless of the talent...I'm fine with Buckner at 7 he's coming a long nice.

We win we could could still get the 2nd pick based on strength of schedule. We need teams like minn and packers to win as well lol.

You think they go pass rush over qb? They did draft 3 pass rushers in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th this past season. I wouldn't be surprised if they trade down with a team that wants a qb end of the day (analytics crew likes the trade down). This time last yr everyone thought bosa was the no brainer #1 pick...yr before Leonard Williams was regarded as the top pick and went 6th as well

I agree. There is no way on Earth the Browns pass up a QB AGAIN after missing Wentz. They may like Kessler, but come on. It is imperative that we stay at number 2 overall though.

Word is they like Trubisky...I'm fine with either Myles or Mitch to be honest. But just based on how drafts have gone the past couple yrs someone with be drafting qb at one regardless if it's the Browns. We need that 2nd pick end of the day

Their 2nd and 3rd round picks (Ogbah and Nassib) have been playing 3-4 DE, not OLB. I don't think the 4th round pick (Schobert) will influence their draft strategy at all. The wild card is Nate Orchard who is a 3-4 OLB drafted in the 2nd round in 2015 who was placed on IR this season. But even if they like Orchard, they can always rotate pass rushers and/or move Jamie Collins to inside linebacker.

I could see the Browns trading back, particularly if they don't have a strong preference among the QBs. Not sure who their trade partner would be - McPhee just got a big contract and the Bears drafted Floyd in the first round last year, so that pretty much rules them out. The Jaguars could probably use him opposite Fowler. They drafted Ngakoue in the 3rd round, but he's nowhere near as good as Garrett. Jonathan Allen or Leonard Fournette are decent options for them at 4 too though. If the Jets like Hackenberg, they could be a trade option as well. Garrett would probably have a ton of sacks behind that defensive line.

Trade partner for a qb could be the Bears or jets? I don't think the jets like hack to be honest dude played they worst preseason game I've ever seen.

Ogbah Hasn't been a straight up DE this yr and both him and Nassib aren't true DEs IMO we got a lot of time left to figure who's taken who.

I wouldn't be against moving up for Myles either

That's sweet. Trubisky can be a busy for them and not for us.

They will very likely take a QB. But they also have no14 at the moment and 2 picks in the 2nd. I think it is very possible that they go Garret and then try to trade up for a QB.

all depends on who they like though...maybe they don't think Watson or Kizer are FQBs, it's not like the this draft is stocked with good QB prospects this yr. I've been reading how they've been scouting Mitch hard.

Clv is also pretty decently invested on pass rushers. They seem to have a bigger need for Allen. I think they take Mitch. The only thing I see preventing us from Garrett is Kap's improved play.

As much as I hate to see the Niners lose. I really want them to lose out the season so we can get Garrett.
If we finish 1-15, this guy better be worth it.

If this board celebrates a bunch of miserable losses to garbage teams over by far our longest losing streak in all of franchise history for this guy, and he doesn't even pan out, I don't know if I would laugh or cry.

At this point who cares if we win? Pointless victories do what for us? Lower our odds of getting a potiential game changer (plus lowers our picks each rd) but most of all it gives the FO a reason to not make changes...no one wants that.
Future 49er!!!!
