Myles Garrett - Edge Rusher

Step one, complete.
The dream is still alive.

The thing is, who will be the higher seed if the Texans or Steelers tie at 10-6? Because if Texans would then Steelers will play this game to win. If Steelers are 3rd seed They'd play the dolphins(6th seed). But if theyre 4th they play the chiefs(5th seed).

And the following week Steelers would have to play the patriots if they were 4th, instead of a Carr-less Raiders team. If I was the Steelers, I'd hope to be the 3rd seed for the easier route.

That is precisely why we have to take a QB at 2. We just don't have a choice if we are serious about taking a franchise QB and not just any QB. The obvious choices still remain to be Trubisky and Watson. Anyone outside of the 2 are considered more as gambles. Myles Garrett is a great pass rusher no doubt, but landing a franchise QB is far more important strategically.

After your posts from last year you have ZERO credibility on the subject of QB. Go take a nap.

Goff did end up as the #1 pick so Rascal was correct in his evaluation (or at least as correct as NFL teams). The guys in love with Connor Cook last year were way off base.

Liking a prospect who gets taken #1 overall doesn't hurt your credibility even if they bust in the NFL (and it's way too early to call Goff a bust). NFL teams have a lot more info on prospects than us and go over a lot more tape than most of us and they loved Goff as well.

I disagree with Rascal about needing to choose a QB over Myles Garrett if given the choice, but he was right about Goff as a prospect even if Goff hasn't panned out yet.

Well, Denver has missed the playoffs now, thanks to having no QB, so may be you need to hibernate.
It makes sense that the Steelers would rest their starters as they're pretty beat up right now and they locked up #3 seed. They're helping us keep the Myles Garrett dream alive.

Knowing this dumb FO - we will probably skip on Garrett

Having the first pick gives a lot of great discussions. If a few teams have an "astronomical grade" on Garrett, then trade discussions can happen where teams will have to overpay to move up. The choice becomes taking Garrett, the top QB, or trade out. That prospects of trading may not be an option at 2. I can see the Niners trading back for a bounty of picks instead of drafting Garrett

We need impact players. It's quality > quantity, yes we have holes to fill but some of those holes can be addressed through FA.

That epic fail would have Baalke's fingerprint all over it.
Myles Garrett or f**k this draft

The bounty of draft picks has been done and F'd-Up by Baalke already.

Just look at all the draft picks he's made and only one guy - Buckner, has the potential to be an impact player. Hyde might one day be.

My point is, we have zero impact players and absolutely zero players any team has to game plan for.

We need a Garrett type player that will make the other players around him better.

This guy has K.Mack type talent. I hope he's available at #2....

Mack takes plays off and doesn't after the ball if it goes to the othe side of the line

I think he's better than Mack if he stays hungry
Please Hue Jackson become desperate and fall in love with a QB abd take him 1st..please finally the niners have luck on their side and Garrett fall in their lap..🙏🏼🙄

Both Myles Garrett or Jonathan Allen are excellent picks at the #1 and #2 spot. As long as one of those 2 are our picks, this draft will be successful.
