If he is there in the 2nd I'm all for it...he's gonna have to answer some questions at the combine.

I think Bow just got in a fight in college. And I agree we'd be fools to pass on Spence in the second.
I just watched some Spence, and all I can say is wow. This guy is an absolute freak. After everything we've been through I'm more put off by character concerns than I used to be, but I give pass rushers more of a hall pass than any other position. They're just too important. If Trent & Co think he'd cleaned his life up, sign me up.

I think he moves up into the 1st but if he is there in the 2nd, I dont think you can pass on him. Has a quicker first step and gets around the corner better than guys like Ogbah and Bosa, better overall pass rusher than Floyd as well.
Has all the tools you want from a 3-4 edge rusher but drug issues are a ???
The Josh Gordon of 3-4 OLBs.

I think someone will grab him at the tail end of the 1st or before our second pick. I'd love to have him though

Ok, my mistake. For some reason I can't imagine Bow smoking weed lol. Spence's drug problem was more serious but it'd be great to have bow take him under his wing.Originally posted by NYniner85:Originally posted by Homer:I think Bow just got in a fight in college. I never thought I'd say this, but this guy reminds me a notch below Lawrence Taylor and a notch above the late Derrick Thomas...
more and more, you all will be a believer!!

Tempting, but after the Aldon Smith circus we should just pass on him. I don't know maybe Baalke has bigger balls than I do
and will just take him lol.
and will just take him lol.

Maybe we would have, but we were still riding the rollercoaster that is "The Aldon Smith Experience."

What are the odds the Seahawks being him in to replace Bruce Irvin?

One thing that Carroll knows are "true" football players... if Noah is there and gets the clearance that he's all mentally straight, then I expect both Seattle or even the Patriots to make a move to land this guy...
Bruce Irvin by all means has yet to meet their total expectations, so I doubt that they would over pay him ..

They very well could. They proved last year that character concerns mean nothing when they drafted Clark. It's paid off so far.

The Pat's don't have a pick, so I doubt they sell the farm to get him. If he makes it later in the 2nd, definitely. He could team up with Chandler Jones and Gronk and take all the pills they can handle
