Goff has been compared to a Bay Area native version of Joe Flacco. He provides QB Security, can sit for a year and learn, and can be paid relatively little for the highest paying position in football allowing us to put money into the rest of the team or free agents for 4-5 years. Treadwell has been compared to a young Dez Bryant, he can open up our offense so defenses can't stack the box. He is very young (which Baalke likes) and would probably grow into being an even more dominant player. Jaylon Smith has been deemed the second coming of Patrick Willis. He would drastically help our defense with tackling and splash plays all while bringing a charismatic presence to the field.

This. Banking on Wentz making it to our pick in the 2nd is crazy. Dude should impress at the Senior Bowl. He should enamor coaches in the interviews.

Yup. Therein lies the problem. One strategy would be to trade back a bit and still nab Jaylon and then trade back up in the 1st to get Wentz.

Yes, sir, will do. Seriously, I have looked at Gabbert quite closely for the past few games, the guy is OK and can come in as a competent back-up for a few games if you need him. But, if we are after a proper legit franchise QB, a game changer type guy who can make plays to win games, he ain't it.

Anyone that knows football knows that you can have the best wr in football it won't make a difference without a qb that can get him the ball. Look at the last couple of years our wr's were constantly open but with no qb to get them the ball it always seemed like we had no wr's now we see what crabs could've really done for us if we had a qb that can deliver. Ellington is getting open and Patton is getting open and Smith is getting open
