That trash just had a far far better game against the same Cards team that left their cleats imprinted on Kaepernick's face.

I was excited about the plays he did make and yes it was his best game out of 4 which says very little but isn't the objective to win the game ..? Never heard any1 in sports satisfied with a loss as long as they play well and he did exactly What Kap has..missed Boldin on a crucial 3rd down and then taking a sack on 3rd down to push us 10 yards back on4th down and then that 4th down throws the ball ahead of the 1st down marker..
Instead of keeping Gabbert cheap for a year and/or re-signing him to a reasonable contract, you have us choosing to cut Gabbert and pay Kaepernick $20 million a year. I don't understand this at all. I do like the free agent moves and many of the draft picks. You could keep Gabbert and cut Kaepernick, sign Alex Mack in addition to your other FA's, and still save tons of cap room...

If Tomsula gets fired as HC, he won't stay as DC.
Love the Hugh Jackson
Love the Mohammed Wilkerson
Love the Jaylon Smith

Anthony Davis can eat a pickle
Boone should have been RT this season

Get what you could for Davis and Kap
If you can't get value for Kap let him and Gabbert compete for the job

Bowman, Lynch, Armstead, Wilkerson, Jaylon Smith, Tank, Dial, Hali, Harold, Tartt, Reid, Williams, and the young corners would be a pretty nice defense.

Tomsula bye
Baalke bye bye
York EAD!

IIRC: technically, they would be keeping him on his HC contract, but having him serve a different role. They have to pay him the full amount regardless, so there's no penalty for demoting him. I think the reasons why HCs never serve immediately as assistants on the same staff they headed up is because 1) It's an uncomfortable scenario for the former HC who ran the team to walk around in front of the same players who aw him as the HC, when he is now taking orders as an assistant, and 2) No new HC want sthe old HC in the building, looking over his shoulder, and possibly pulling loyalty away from the new HC, simply by being in the building.

It would never happen. Any HC would s**t a brick over having the previous HC pushed on to their staff and deservedly so.
Stopped reading when you said JT will get demoted to DC...what HC has ever gotten demoted on the same team? That just doesn't happen.

Kap isn't coming back and blaine is at the very least just as good an cost about $10 million less.

Also no to giving up that much for Conner cook, what does everyone see in this guy? He is nothing special at all...cousins 2.0.

Love the smith pick

Threw for over 300 vs the 10th ranked pass d who gives up a avg 230 yds a game? And it's not like they were getting blown out....id like to see what Blaine could do with a real coaching staff. Dude was the 10th pick in the draft for a reason, IMO he needed to sit back and learn for a year or two, he didn't come from a pro-offense and was super young. He looks more mature and confident back there,
Wait, we cut Gabbert to keep Kap?

You lost me at cutting gabbert. Gabbert is playing well. Who knows what he can do with time from the oline. And trading back in the first for a qb will not happen. I bet the 9ners draft a qb in the 3rd or 4th. And gabbert starts

Right he didn't do it the same year lol...that crap never happens and it would be a huge slap in the face of JT...I don't think he's a great HC because even he has a little pride.
Jersey,

That is a lot to give up just to get Cook. How far do you think Cook will fall if Goff and Lynch get picked before him?

Like
- Jaylon Smith, Westerman, Jerian Grant picks, your free agent moves

Dont' Like
- Another 5th round pick on a kicker, the other two WR's. keeping Kaep.

I'm thinking he falls to 25 where I had us trading up for..as for the kicker I'm sure we will draft 1 maybe not in the 5th..mike Williams I think is going to be a good pro but as for duke Williams he's a low risk high reward pick..as for Kap again I've said this a lot Gabbert is doing nothing more then Kap has this year..idc how good ppl think Gabbert plays if we lose its worthless..any QB for that matter..
