Mike Williams is a likely first round pick and Cain will likely be a first or second round pick next year. Switzer may be a fourth round pick. Trubisky had a talented roster around him no doubt, but let's not pretend it's equal to Watson's supporting cast.

No TE on UNC to compare against and Leggett didn't participate in the 40...this is also a combine comparison. We are talking physical talent, measurables.

This is going back to arguments a couple of months ago when posters said Mitch was the better QB because he lacked talent around him.

TE Leggett - 18 reps 33 inch vertical.

"Aside from the glowing reviews from Watson's workout which saw him show smoother footwork, a strong arm and accuracy, Watson was given quite the endorsement by Alabama defensive end Jonathan Allen when asked who the best quarterback was that he faced in college.

It was Watson and Allen, who faced him in back-to-back national championship games, explained why.

"Just his composure," Allen said. "We hit him, God, I can't even count how many times. We were trying to put him out, we were trying to crush him. And every time he just came back tougher. Just his competitiveness, best player I've played in college by far."

What separated him from the rest?

"Just the mental aspect," Allen said. "A lot of guys we played at the quarterback position, by the end of the game, they're not really going through the progressions the way they were in the first half because they're worried about the rush. Deshaun Watson played exactly the same in the first quarter as he did in the fourth quarter."

What exactly was wrong about what I wrote?

Switzer is the most NFL ready talent that Trubisky was working with. He's a 3rd rounder at best.

Beyond that everyone else is mid round to undrafted.

I think he was referring to the jcs post. At least I would hope so.

Yea he was definitely referring to jcs' post(s)

Draft position is a far better indicator or supporting casts than combine measurements and Watson's teammates are going to be drafted higher.

I'm not sure who argued that Trubisky lacked talent around him, because North Carolina scored a ton of points the year before with most of the same players. Watson has a lot more talent around him though.
He put on a show. Wow

I can get behind this. Watson is constantly putting in the work and is a proven leader. He is inconsistent at times, but has the drive to get better. I'm hopping on the bandwagon

Wouldn't be upset with him at all. They are the clear cut top 2 this year

Uh. Nice try but no.
I don't think UNCs collective talent > Clemson's talent obviously, but it's just funny to hear people constantly mention the fact that Watson plays with supporting talent while ignoring the fact that 5 other skill position players from UNC are likely to be drafted. Just like they constantly fail to mention that Marquise Williams killed it the previous season while going 11-3 (one of those losses coming to Clemson, which is a team that Trubisky got to avoid, in addition to avoiding Louisville this year in the ACC).

W/O a single QB on the roster, I think this is the pick as well.

I'm good with it, he is clearly the best QB prospect in this draft.
Okay let's just say the Browns pull a Browns move and pass on both Watson and Garrett then who do you all want?

Garrett for me
