Seems like we finally have things going our way and then something goes wrong. 3rd and forever and unsportsmanlike to give them first and additional 15. Cmon Chargers
This game is terrible. Hate both teams. Wanted to move up a spot in the draft. Not happening.
Fudge.
Only I didn't say fudge. I said the word. The big one. The queen mother of dirty words. The Eff dash dash dash word!

f**k, we stay at #6.

FPI projects we'll pick 5th. It also ranks us as the worst team in football and claims we have over-won this season which I agree with. Would have loved to have jumped San Diego though. Each position is worth a lot when you may have a top 5 pick.
Chargers are just as snakebit as us this year. Too bad they will pick before us because they have some of the same needs.

We have to just hope Dallas and Baltimore can win their games this weekend. That's the only chance of us moving up this week.

Same goes for the Titans and Ravens to be honest. Those teams are better than the 49ers and will also likely end up with a better draft position. There's just no silver lining this year. We suck and we're not getting the full benefit of sucking.

Titans with Mariota have a decent offense - he has shown signs of becoming a franchise QB. They've put up almost 20 pts/game on the season even though he's missed some games and have a -90 pt differential.

Ravens have lost a number of close games including that last second blocked kick. They're very unlucky (lucky with respect to the draft) to have only 4 wins with a -68 point differential. They also lost Flacco which is a much bigger deal than us losing Kaepernick when he was going to be benched anyways. Steve Smith Sr was balling out before he got hurt and they lost Forsett and Suggs as well.

The Chargers keep finding ways to lose close games too. They're 4-11 with a -71 point differential through 15 games. For reference, the 49ers are sitting at a -137 differential which will hopefully get worse this week. They lost Keenan Allen and the rest of their offense has been banged up with Floyd, Stevie, and some of the offensive linemen missing games.

Baltimore isn't winning anything. They're dead. Dallas has a chance, but they're as self-destructive as anyone.
Stupid Chargers! Yet another kicker screws the Niners.

Guess it wasn't meant to be.
Our (SOS) is pretty high but with finishing the season against two losing teams it should help our posistioning unless we win one or both

I may be wrong but I thought SOS is based upon all the teams on your schedule including teams you haven't played yet. If anything, our SOS may get worse because those bad teams should beat us which will improve their records. It's not likely to change significantly if that is the case.
