We have to somehow stay in front of the Cowboys. I think they'll take one of the QB's with their pick.

Personally I wouldn't take Goff or Lynch in the top 5 or 6 picks.

I hate having to use a pick that high on a Qb, but we'll have no choice.

It won't be that high Gabbert will play well enough to win a game or 2 put us out of the top 10 and some of the Zone's most preferred prospects, have some fans here fooled into believing he's good enough to start, save Tomsula's job, and then play like his true self next year putting us in the running for another top 10 pick and giving Tomsula a way overdue pink slip.

You might be right, but you got to keep the faith. We need a new Qb going forward.

Not a chance in hell IMO. Jerry knows he needs to draft a QB to develop behind Romo but Jerry still believes that he can win a SB with a healthy Romo. Ramsey, Smith, Bosa or Nkemdiche would be perfect for them.
I can see Wentz, Brissett, Cook or Hogan winding up as a Cowboy though.

Never know what Jerry will do, but I hope your right.

Keep in mind that Jerry is no longer the sole authority in Dallas. If he was, Johnny Manziel would ve a Cowboy right now. His son and other front office personnel have been able to get their way for awhile now, which seeing as how they largely football pragmatists, is a good thing for Cowboys fans.
I think adding a defensive cornerstone is most likely, followed by a QB taken in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Of course Dallas pissed away a win yesterday. Maybe the Ravens get a W today

I doubt we will. Far too many prospects who will grade out higher. We may take a QB. But it won't be in the top 10.

We should be in good shape to pick up the best CB or the best LB in the draft. I'd be fine with either. Despite how bad our O is I don't trust this staff to develop a QB.

Well, BAL lost today, that was our only chance of moving up this week. Best we can do this week is lose and stay at #5.
