Pass rush draft

In the draft the Niners priority should be OLB. Overall, the Niners' priority is the OL. But developing OL players takes time, which the Niners don't have. They have to get A. Davis back (threaten to offer the RT position to Boone if Davis doesn't sign immediately after the season ends). Then sign the two best FA OL.

As it stands now, the Niners will picked 6th. Go get this guy: The Niners will need guys will all-day motors if they are to wash to taste out of this season.

Emmanuel Ogbah-6'4", 270-DL-Oklahoma State- A very impressive prospect that is moving up fast, outstanding motor with good athleticism that is having a great season for Oklahoma State. He's a guy with pretty good athleticism that has been consistently productive. In a 3-4 he could potentially play at OLB or further bulk up and move to DE. He's currently on pace to break Oklahoma State records for sacks in a single season after having 11 last season. If the 49ers go for an OLB, this would be my pick. http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_/id/105339/constant-improvement-sparks-emmanuel-ogbahs-dominance-for-oklahoma-state

There's that too.

If he's there early in the 2nd, he could be interesting if we switch to a 4-3. Watching the Baylor Iowa State game and he looked pretty good on a couple rushes (explosive off the line, just had a strip sack). Have a feeling the combine will keep him in the first round because he's going to blow it up.

This is true. Even Anthony Davis took some time to come around, and he was picked at 11 overall. I think free agency is our best bet at OT and even center. I think we are a good O-line away from having a really good offense.

Phoenix49er (nice thx)

Bro's this dude should be first guy chosen on any defense. Nice to know there's one in the draft that should be available when we draft.

Then he gets the quarterback he raps up, nice. We need 2 of 'em.

Watching Auburn vs Ole Miss
#55 Carl Lawson is a beast, looked explosive going against Tunsil
Would be a nice OLB prospect to watch

Emmanuel Ogbah looks awesome. I'd love to pair him with Lynch and watch them take over games. Them with AA collapsing the pocket would make me very happy.

Carl Nassib has improved every year, and is dominating right now. 12 sacks so far? I can't remember the exact number but that's insane. Walked on, gained 50-60 lbs, and made himself a force. He could play his way into the first.

Another guy I really like is Yannick Ngakoue. 6'2" 255 lbs. good fit as an OLB. Great pass rusher, needs to work against the run. He has a lot of power but is also fast enough to get around blockers. He made Scherff look bad last year and matched up well against Decker too.
Not a fan of Ogbah, he's waayyyy to stiff to be an effective 3-4 OLB. Dudes like a friggin 2x4
One name I really like is Kemoko Turray. I have him as a 4th rounder right now. Raw but possess the same skill set as Aldon does. Give him a few years and he could really be a star.

He's got an outstanding back ground remix to his highlight reel

good draft prospect 6'3" 250
IMO we should focus on the D-line because our best OLB(Lynch) is a great pass rusher but not so good against the run so it would be ideal to always have 3 DL(supposing we stay in a 3-4 system) and Lynch rushing the passer in the base defense. I can only see 1 DE who can be a starter and have pass rushing skills(Armstead) so it would be good to have someone we could pair with him and press the QB. Both OLB normaly only pressure the QB at the same time in nickel/dime situations and while blitzing.

I would like to draft a OLB if it was a guy like Ahmad Brooks, a guy who can rush the pass but knows how to cover as well and there are not lots of guys who can do that. However there is a guy in the draft that can do so and he is Jaylon Smith. He can do it all.
I think Darron Lee is a do-it-all LB. if we could land him and another pass rusher at OLB, we could have something with our front 7.

At OLB, either of the Georgia boys would be great picks. Jenkins is more pro ready, I think, but I love Floyd's upside. Dadi Nicolas looks like an Aaron Lynch clone. Eric Striker is more of a speed rusher that would add some pressure. All of these guys look better to me than Eli Harold and here's a good reason he went in the 3rd round.

A little tip on 49ers mock drafts.
If the #1 pick doesn't start with an OT WR or OLB
it doesn't have a chance of coming true.
or offense has weapons
Reggie Bush
Carlos Hyde
Torrey Smith
Black Bell( Sorry Vance McDonald Earn it )
I hope the front office is tired of watching our games scores of only 10 or 17 points.

I thing our defense is 1 player away from being a top team we are a little bit better than middle.
Shawn Calhoun if were lucky Joey Bolsa.
There will be some teams lining up of a QB just like every year.
What about Shilique Calhoun in the 2nd round? Your thoughts on him?

I'd love to see Joey Bolsa and Black Bell squaring up in practice everyday. Iron sharpens iron, bludgeon!
