I think drafting a QB who shouldn't be needed for another 2 years at pick 4 would be just as silly as not planning for the future post Romo. They really need impact players on defense, I'd be amazed if that's not their no.1 target. I see three options for the Cowboys- trade back for whichever qb falls outside the top 10(unlikely), draft Cook/whoever 2nd round or later, RGIII/Manziel. Unless they know Romo will struggle to get through next season, I think they'd be crazy to use such a high pick on a qb they ideally shouldn't need.

Baalke will do what Kelly wants when it comes to QB like he did with Harbaugh. He will ask him are you sure, is this guy you want? So if we do get a QB it will be both of them signing off, not just Baalke.

I agree and am on board with trading Goff for a king's ransom. Bears (although Cutler improved), Saints, Philly, STL, Jets and Texans are all viable trade back options if Goff is there at 7. Of course anyone after STL would have to pay a pretty penny but that's the cost for moving up into the Top 10 from that far out.

Well it all depends on if there's more than one team and how far the other team is moving up. Trading for QBs (like RG3) tend to cost more because of the position and lack of talent there in this draft.

You a Goff fan? Wentz comes from a pro style offense and has more success. I'm not sure Goff has even taken a snap from center.
