RB Leonard Fournette

You might want to rewatch that. He talks about how Fournette's pitfall is his inconsistency with zone runs.

Guess what Kyle Shanahan's entire offense revolves around?

Thank you! He's not a fit for the zone runs like I've been stating.

People want to draft him based on some highlight reels and the fact that espn has been pumping him up since high school, but ignore our system and the team we currently have.

He's gonna run 4.4-4.5
Very intriguing. Dude has that potential to be that AP type. I personally think he sat some games to rest up last year. I mean with the coaching change and then out of a major bowl picture, I could easily see him doing that.
Idk about at 2, but then again Hyde hasn't shown he can be durable, & this league has become a 2 back league.
So apparently we are considering him at #2. I don't think thats a good idea but if Shanahan thinks so I'll back it.

Fournette measures in at 6'0", 240 lbs., 31 5/8 arms and 9 1/4 hands. Short arms and small hands.

Dude is a beast but yeah.. not sure if he fits the outside zone running style.

It appears that we are openly considering everyone at 2...which is good to attract potential trade partners looking for various positions at the top of the draft.

That would still be insane!

Guys who weigh 240 run 4.7. Anything in the 4.4s would be absolutely incredible.

Kyle Shanahan has said over and over again you adapt the offense for the talent.

If he takes Fournette it's because he believes the offense is better for it. We'll see.
This team is going to need more than one draft to fill all of the "holes." I agree with the others that have said that you take the BPA. If that's Fournette then you pull the trigger. Like the previous poster said, Shanahan can adapt his offense if needed.

It's a no-brainer if he's the BPA.
With Lynchs approach to FA. He doesn't want to into the draft saying "oh man we need to draft this position" so he could very well get BPA with the 2nd pick if we dont trade down.
If he is indeed as complete as AP I'm fairly certain he can be a zone back. Shanny's most successful rb is Arian Foster. He was pretty close to 230. LSU struggling on zone runs may say more about their o line. Most lines aren't build for both either.

With Hyde, and how easily rb's are found I don't see drafting LF as a wise move but if Lynch and AP were available again they're worth a #2 pick. Fournette is that good.
