He totaled 163 tackles (29 for loss), 14 sacks, and 6 forced fumbles. It almost seemed last year that viewers couldn't watch an Arizona game without hearing his name. Despite being one of the most highly-regarded players in the country, he still has his critics, as does everybody. Wright is mainly criticized for the way he plays out of position, but playmakers like him have to take chances and he is doing that making a huge impact behind the line of scrimmage. He is more a natural football player rather than an athlete, but I can see his 40 time, broad jump, etc. being better than people think.

I would absolutely love to see Scooby Wright as a 49er, maybe in the 2nd round if he falls there. He tackles a little high, I'd like to see him get low like Willis and Bow.

I have no idea what his measurables are, but I know he is one hell of a playmaker on D.

Hurt himself in the first quarter of the season opener. Looks like we won't see him until late in the season.

No word yet on his injury, Rich Rod is supposed to give an update at his monday presser. He had an MRI on the knee and was using a cane to walk after the injury. The injury has the characteristics of an ACL as he hurt himself on a noncontact play. Scooby is a high motor guy who just makes plays. He would fit well in our system.
