Cook is the guy for whom I hope. I fully expect them to keep going with Kaepernick (unfortunately), but I hope I'm wrong.

Not a fan of Jones.

Getting pretty confident in my initial analysis of Cardale right now. Benched after 2 picks today.

J.T. Barrett will be the better pro. He has better accuracy, pocket presence, and is very athletic. He reminds me of Russell Wilson a bit, specifically his leadership.

Cardale has the arm and knack for the big play, but he will struggle with the consistency needed at the next level. He will also need to mature a bit.
Has to be O-Line, that was ugly....
O LINE!!!!!!!

I've always been for flashy picks and hopeful for WRs but our offense will never be able to produce a star WR..

1. O Line
2. CB
3. O Line
4. OLB
5. O Line

Completely agree with your draft needs. Multiple O Line, CB, and OLB. I would also say ILB as well to go with Bowman.
1. Tackle
2. Guard
3. OLB
4. ILB
5. Tackle

we need to create a punishing offensive line defenses will fear
At this point its pretty obvious to me that our priorities on offense will be oline and on d its front 7.

I think the DL the 49ers have will be better. However, it may be time to contemplate a 4 man front. That way Bowman can take the middle and the 49ers can ration fewer picks to LB's, and allocate more to the O-line.

This line could possibly have three new starters next year. Maybe four if Boone is gone. And Staley is clearly on the down side of his career

Need to add QB to the list.

49ers are not in position to draft a QB early and I don't believe a 4th+ round QB will replace Kaep, or even Gabbert for that matter.
Needs appear to be much greater than i initially thought.
-need to revamp the entire OL. Martin looks terrible (i do not care if he is young. right now he cannot be counted on as a positive contributor to the OL). Have no idea what Thomas can do. Kilgore is still on PUP so who knows how he returns. Pears and Devey are atrocious. And Boone has been mediocre for some time. Not to mention their best player, by a long shot, on the OL is not getting any younger. I mean this could be a full revamp unless Kilgore comes back healthy and Thomas and Martin step up. Even then you are still looking at some major holes to fill.
-Going to need a good WR. Boldin will be gone next year and then they are left with literally ONE proven WR in Smith.
-OLB needs to be addressed because right now not one of these OLB are doing a good job of generating a pass rush.
-MLB probably needs to be addressed. Everyone seems to think that Bowman is not even close to 100%.
-Many will call for new CB's...but i think if they can rectify the pass rush then the CB's should be ok.
-Going to need another RB. Bush can't stay healthy and will be gone and Davis looks like s**t.
-oh and they may very well need a new QB.

What we need

1. OLine
2. OLine
3. OLine
4. Pass rush
5. Have I mentioned OLine?
6. A little more OLine just to be on the safe side.
7. Pass rush

What we'll get

1. Developmental project
2. Conversion project
3. ACL champ
4. Kicker
5. Another ACL, just to make sure
6. CB (we only do CBs in the late rounds)
7. Pointless TE who will get in the IR on final cut day.
Without a doubt we need O-lineman and pass rushers. I'm giving Kap the full season to buy some more time. I really don't want to have to address the QB position this off-season. We have so many other needs.
Owner, GM, Coach, QB

I think by the end of this season, we should be able to say if we are comfortable with Kap moving forward. IF the answer is no, we absolutely are in a position to draft a QB early. In fact, if we are ready to move on from Kap AND have the ability to draft Goff, we should.

Cant make the mistake of passing on a Cal QB again. S*** has haunted us for years.

What has defined the 49ers for the last 4 years is strong line play and they suck there. When you can control the tempo of the game by dominating the LOS, you're never out of a game.

But just talking in generalities, they 49ers lack playmakers.
