I have a question for viewers of my draft website

I like both ideas, the more content, the more views I will get, which is a plus for me. I love both ideas.

So far.

Keep up with the 2015 draftees/draft classes
2016 Rankings, weekly
2016 Scouting
2016 Player of the week to highlight
2017 Look Ahead

Another idea I got off twitter was during the season, track the players progress, and do my usual weekly watch thread for college fball season.

And then you're two article ideas will be what I do first most likely.

I always like the re-draft exercises. Go back say 3 years and redraft based on what we know now. This year would be particularly interesting as the 2012 was such a disaster for the 49ers. (Makes sense that 3 years later, we had a down year, huh?)

I like that idea too. I could do what I would of done for the first round. Maybe re-grade some draft classes too.

Yet I could never get a high valued WR for a 1, 2 and 3. Tried so many guys, that's the one time where I encourage over spending in free agency
That's so funny. I used to do the same thing. Every time I'd start a franchise, I'd go and sign the best free agents and trade them for draft picks (every year when the game came out, there were always old-but-highly-rated free agents available). Many years I'd go into the draft with like 3-4 1st round picks. Eventually it just got boring. You could make such unrealistic trades in that game that it just felt cheap!

I did that too, every year I would sign the top unsigned FAs and trade them for the highest picks I could get.

What was funny is in one madden 08 pc franchise, wish I had it still, I re-signed Alex after what would be the 2010or 2011 season, and then had an offfer from i think Oakland to trade up for a 2nd and 3rd(into the top 5) and get Andrew Luck lol.

I like the re-grade. Also, maybe a 'biggest hits/misses" of older draft classes. Right now, so many of us are high/low on certain players and completely passionate about our feelings for them. But once TC and OTAs start and certainly once the season starts, all those players we were so sure were great/busts that are on other teams now disappear from our collective awareness.

Go back a few years, look at some of the players people hated/loved from previous classes and see who panned out and who didn't.

Also maybe a 5+ year look back and compare by schools. What schools had the most success with players who transitioned into the NFL? Any surprises? Schools that excel at certain positions? Schools that typically have a higher level of success with late rounders or a more frequent busts with higher picks?

That would be really interesting to me. We all think we know certain trends like Texas for DBs, but maybe when the numbers play out some less heralded program has been just as successful or the big name program hasn't actually has more success, just a few big names.

I like the idea of comparing schools, and seeing what were surprises, like LSU WRs used to be a no-no, until Brandon LaFell(Not great but a good WR), and then last year two studs IMO, OBJ and Landry. I had always hated LSU WRs, now I'm jealous we didn't get OBJ or Landry.

Another is USC QBs, I always hated them, and I feel right, Barkley has been relegated to 3rd stringer at best, Mark Sanchez never lived up to the hype in NY.

Damn guys I really appreciate all the reccomendations, and I posted this not even Idk 12 hours ago, and we got a ton of great ideas. IF anyone thinks of anymore let me know.

It would be doubly interesting to see if there are any trends or changes with the schools, if anything corresponds to it. Change of coach or OC/DC? If so, did the trend come from or continue at the new/old school of that coach?

For example, maybe for years we thought of position X as good or bad from Ohio state, did it change under Urban Meyer? Does that mirror what his old programs did?
You should work the GM aspect into your website.... manage the cap, blah blah blah.

early warning in particular. if good but non-eligible prospects are running around in 2015, i would like to know it as soon as possible.
Small School Draft Rankings
Mock Draft & Manage the cap simulators like First Pick.com or Fanspeak
I think its always great to pick some 2016 names that aren't known yet, but will be household names.

Maybe I'm wrong, but some guys I think will be break out stars:
QB Gunner Kiel, Cincinatti
RB Derrick Green, Michigan - #1 RB out of highschool, Michigan's starter until he broke his clavicle. Under Harbaugh, could be in for a monster season
WR Laquon Treadwell, Miss St - #1 WR out of highschool, suffered a nasty knee injury, not sure how he is doing on his recovery. Looks 6-2 220. I'd compare him maybe to Dez Bryant?

etc. Got to get back to work

edit:

Oh and my daily tip on my Sun Devils (if you look back I brought up Damarious Randall very early on), is WR DJ Foster.

He has been a RB/WR for his career but for his senior season will be full time WR. He has that combo of toughness, super quick, and very smooth route running. I'm sure he has dropped passes, but I can't recall them.

I haven't seen Treadwell much, but I think he is probably the best WR in next years class, he did have an injury, knee I think, which he may or may not be healthy in time to come back from.
