Mostly happy with the Davis pick, Smelter is going to be a redshirt, the punter might knock off Lee and handle kickoff duties, Silberman is a mean mofo, Bell is a developmental TE prospect with HUGE hands.

Good synopsis!

Spot on. Like all Baalke picks, you need to dig a bit and then it all makes sense and you can see the plan.

BTW, that plan is: Slowly work the following players in on packages and develop for FT starters in 2016

DE Arik Armstead - Will most likely play on pass rush downs to help free up Aldon/Lynch and replace Justin/McDonald next year
SS/ILB Jaquiski Tartt - Will be used in DIME/NICKEL packages on passing downs to push Bowman (knee) and Wilhoite (poor coverage) to the bench (strong in the middle) and replace Bethea next year
OLB Eli Harold - He's a big Aldon fan and he'll work in on pass rush downs and packages and work into the primary rotational pass rusher behind Aldon/Lynch
TE Blake Bell - Will be an instant RZ target and possibly more once VD moves on
RB Mike Davis - Excellent security behind Hyde and primary power back behind him
WR DeAndre Smelter - Rare to find a quality nig-bodied X WR of this caliber and will compete next year as a starter after Boldin moves on
P/PK Bradley Pinion - Doubles as a P and PK and will take over for Lee next year or Dawson
T Ian Silberman - Replaces Pears next year as the primary swing-T

Any QB's worth taking?

Hutson Mason, QB out of Georgia, perfect game manager type, won't ever be a starter but can be a pretty good, reliable backup QB with good pocket presence.
I want the QB from WSU. I personally saw him tear apart UW and there good defense that had 3 first round picks on it.
Stacy for a 7th?
Fajardo is around still, right? If you're looking for a productive developmental QB, why not this dude? It'd be nice to see this organization try to develop late round QBs to at least create value for future draft pick trades.
Wouldn't be surprised to see the Niners target small school QB Brandon Bridge of South Alabama.

Yeah, that's the guy I would go after, although I'd probably wait until after the draft.
Anyboby pick Collins yet?
Why is Taiwan Jones still available?
My ideal 7th round:

Tre McBride WR
Taiwan Jones ILB
Ekpre-Olomu CB

Can't imagine I actually get what I want tho....

Have a feeling it may be something like:

QB Brandon Bridge, South Alabama
DE Tory Slater, West Georgia
CB Justin Coleman, Tennessee
