They were denied. Also, I've read that if he isn't selected, his only way into the NFL is through a UDFA contract. If he is selected, he can refuse to sign and re-enter the draft next year. Saying he wouldn't sign, his camp screwed up big time.

The way i understand it is that if a team drafts him, he wont sign. But if he goes undrafted, he is a free agent. I dont know if that gets him anymore money.

I think its a new scenario for everyone. Dont think it looks bad or incriminates him.

If Collins is drafted, he will not sign and enter the draft next year. If he goes undrafted, he cannot enter the draft next year, so he has to sign a UDFA contract or never play in the NFL. This is why he will not be drafted

If he goes undrafted he can't enter the draft next year. He also can't get his value because the maximum that you can give him $70,000 for the entire undrafted rookie crop. However he can become a free agent sooner.
