2015 NFL Entry Draft Thread - Do NOT post the Pick before it's Announced

Maybe we can pick him up undrafted or something. But I could see him coming out of nowhere to be a quality NFL player if he lands in the right situation.

Did he recently tear an ACL...... Not sure if they are going to add another healthy RB.

5th rd has many good players, wait until rd 6 or 7 to take a punter, (unless he's Ray Guy?)

At the end of the 7th why not. only thing if la'el is guilty thats horrible pr. i guess would create a buzz if not guilty too. unwanted distraction i guess but ifo worth a risk and ir him

Maybe not according to our board.

Let's be reality, 90% of the 5th round will be out of the NFL in 2 seasons or less.

Baalke has done a very good job of addressing roster loss at least one year ahead in the draft. So okay, a punter with a big leg that will allow some salary savings by cutting Lee. Okay sure. But in the 5th round when you have failed to address the backup swing OT spot (for years!) as well as ILB where we've lost 2 starter-level players (including a would've been HoFer). Me no likey.

That said, this draft has been pretty solid in keeping with the plan. Armstead to help replace Smith/Dockett in a year. Tartt to replace Bethea in a year. Harold to hedge our bets at OLB with Aldon's contract year and Brooks being, well, Brooks. You draft Bell as one of the more intriguing TE prospects in this draft, Mike Davis who sounds a bit Gore-ish according to scouting reports, and Smelter as the potential Boldin replacement. That is a quality draft to me.

I just don't like the idea of Erik Pears being THE backup at both OT spots, as well as potentially starting at LG (ugh). It's better than relying on Boone to slide out in a pinch, but not by much. Then Wheeler and/or Bishop being first off the bench at ILB? I hope Moody or Skov can make a jump.

Just remember, fellow Faithful, that CB was never high on the list of priorities going into this draft. They addressed that spot 3 times last draft as well as with signing Wright and resigning Cook.

Agree on all that.

And I would add KR/PR to the list of needs. And that guy could be a WR, RB or CB, because we have question marks at all those spots.

So what guys are left that you guys are hoping we can get? Especially at ILB, OL, and WR?
balke Is either completely F$$$in nuts or he's Creating the perfect masterpiece to a new dynasty. I just don't know what to believe anymore.
FSs Prewitt and Smith
WRs McBride and Lewis
CB Ifo

Yeah, I know... But we generally will have one more guy for training camp. You know, like Jewell Hampton. That guy usually gets cut, and hopefully makes the practice squad. So all I'm saying is, I hope that guy turns out to be Josh Robinson this year.

No kidding....

And I feel like Baalke drafts I love, turn out bad. And ones I hate turn out well.... So confusing....

I don't see where most places even have him as anything other than one of the lowest rated punters if rated at all.

so what in theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee f**k??????

what in the hell is going on in that head of Baalke???
Baalke is out-thinking himself. He falls in love with guys and drafts them too early eg. Tartt would have been there in rd 3, Smelter in rd 5, Punter in rd 6
So Ellington is our primary pr. Who's backup. I know we have a lot of potential kr but dam
