I think Carrier might be the odd guy out in this. Nice receiving TE, can't block however, that doesn't work on a run-heavy offense. I don't think this affects McDonald one way or another, 49ers are doing what they always do, in case VD leaves, you get McDonald more snaps this year and you develop Bell to step in next season.
I would be sad to see Carrier go. He was a bright spot with a bunch of tough catches at the end of the year when they actually gave him some playing time.
yeah. Phoenix is probably right in that Carrier is the odd man out, but I like him more than Vance. He puts it all out there on the field

Yep, it's the theme of this draft. Tartt could cover Ward or Reid as well. Very versatile.
