Not sure why you consider height such a big deal for a RB. Davis is the same height as Frank Gore. I think Davis provides everything you could ask for in a feature back.

I'm starting to feel that way too. I would not be mad at all about Johnson at 15 either. He's a very nice CB prospect, just so very fluid, will play both sides of the field, so much to like about him.


I'm also a big fan of Marcus Peters, I just worry about him on the character side of things, not sure if the 49ers would be willing to take the risk.

Oh, and since the 49ers released Holliday today, I wouldn't be shocked to see J.J. Nelson get picked up later on in the draft or as a UDFA.

I don't have anything against him being short. it is that they have Bush 6' 205, Hyde 6' 225 and Hunter 5'7" 200 I think they would look for something different then what they have. I big goal line running back. I'm just not a big fan of drafting a RB when they have those 3 RB on the roster. Now 2 of the three could easily get hurt Bush and Hunter then they will need a RB, and your 1000% correct when you said they draft one every year. I really like Hyde and I hope he is the work horse back. If they draft a RB one of the 4 will probably not be playing on Sunday. So If they draft someone I hope it is in the later rounds 5, 6 or 7
