I had to take one in the military. I've never felt so stupid. I only answered about 30-40 questions, and I don't know how many I got right (they didn't give us our scores).

It's got to be harder when it matters for something. Thank you for your service!

Thanks man. I imagine it means more to the NFL prospects than it did to me. I was getting paid the same no matter what.
Here's Vince Young's wonderlic just for perspective:

Here's a Wonderlic test sample link that DOES work :)

(worked 4 me)
I took one and they are extremely simple. You just need a primer course in math, eg, algebra, and they are a snap. That and a small amount of knowledge of logic. To score well on one of these does not make one a genius...it just proves you can think and that you understand simple math. It has nothing to do with football, other than can you stay awake and follow simple commands.

I can see an application for this...and that is to see if the football player can do simple thinking and simple math. If not, then the guy is not very well educated, and probably got thru college taking basket weaving and similar courses. A guy who can't do well on this test is going to have a hard time learning the playbook. He would not be a good pick if he did poorly on this test...IMO. But that is all I see from this test. I think you would get the same info if you just sat down and interviewed the prospect for ten minutes.

And Wrath thank you for your service. I bet if you took the same one I did, you would have scored at the very top. Bet they have changed substantially since you first took one.
