Marcus Peters

Strong, Perriman, Dorsett...(either of them) and Marcus Peters....Dang. what a first 2 rounds.

the bolded is probably the best possibility. Dorsett's recent pro day performance, and from all accounts, great interviews, could possibly push his stock up to the early 2nd, though
If Baalke wants a tough CB with size who plays with real attitude, Peters is his guy. I get he's had some issues...but if Baalke & Tomsula are convinced he's on the right track, he'd be the CB to draft early, IMHO. Between him and Reid, we'd have two real ballers in our secondary.
Want.
I'm on board with Peters love his passion. If not for his character issues I think he would be a lot closer to Waynes for top CB in this draft.
I like his swag but he's got to use his head after getting an interception or making a good play. Play football and don't worry about talking sh*t to your competition... do that after the game. He's the kind of guy that can make huge mental mistakes because of his swag & attitude. Reminds me a bit of Antonio Cromartie.

He's definitely not the most polished corner in the draft though. Physical - yes... but not the most polished. That's Trae Waynes.

i agree with this. Todd Gurley or Marcus Peters are my choices for #15

If Waynes is there is peters still your pick? Would love to see baalkes cornerback board. This guy plays with the attitude you like to see.

I would still pick Peters over Waynes. I feel Peters has more potential to be a shutdown corner. They're both physical, but I feel like Peters is a notch above Waynes when it comes to technique.

Love peters as a guy who'll produce and physically hold up,
But, gurley is a better football playet--and its not close.

Bpa (without need in the equation) its clearly gurley.

Peters is the BEST ALL AROUND CORNER in this year's draft outside the kid from Stanford who I think is very very underrated..
Supposedly had a very good day today at his Pro Day workout.
I'd be all for him at 15
Marcus Peters runs a 4.54 40 and has a questionable attitude you want him at #15? Seems too high.
40 time is important for a corner. Better to trade down and pick him later if still there

Yep I'd try that too. But the 40 time I disagree, what was Haden and Shermans 40 times, and that's two of the best who Peters physically at the line of scrimmage emulates

Joe Haden ran a 4.57 and Sherman ran a 4.56

Yes the 40 is important but so are the drills that require CBs to change directions quickly, test their lateral quickness, and exposition in short areas..also I think the vertical jump is also important.

He did well in the vert jump, shuttle runs, and the 3 cone. I don't think he's a better prospect than Waynes, but I don't think Waynes makes it past the Saints either.
