If he passes the character test, NOT a reach at 15.

I wouldn't mind a trade down and grabbing him in the late 1st.
People make way too big of a deal about "character flags". Sure, if a guy has SERIOUS issues, i.e. sense of entitlement, is a cancer, has sociopathic, violent tendencies or is a sexual deviant, ya, you drop the guy from your draft board...

...but it seems like any guy who misses a single Sunday church sermon gets demonized by fans and media.

I'd like to remind everyone that the NFL HOF and Pro-Bowl rosters every year are filled with guys who were in some way hot-heads or had some kind of character concerns. Cris Carter. Deion Sanders. Michael Irvin. Randy Moss. Terrell Owens. Rodney Harrison. Lawrence Taylor. Ray Lewis.

The question is whether Peters is just a highly emotional, competitive guy... or if he is more like a Percy Harvin and has an inflated opinion of himself and no respect for teammates and coaches.

As long as he's not a complete a*****e, I wouldn't mind drafting him early at all. A shutdown CB and a ball-hawk to pair with our pass rush could make our D a nightmare to match up with.
Have a feeling he'll be in Seattle next year.

This. He has the "it" factor. When he was on the field he was a play maker. With the way things are playing out in FA, corner seems to be the position we need to address in the first. Hopefully this is our guy.

From what I've read, he's a highly competitive and emotional guy. Even his coaches in Washington are really vouching for him with NFL teams. That's a real good sign.

if you want a guy to make a #1 wr frustrated, then pick this guy. #1 wr will have a long day's work on sunday.

He growing on me. I love his instincts . He just a play maker. My only concern is his motivation. Is he the type of guy who takes plays off and comes to team meetings late? Because I don't want that. I want a player who can turn his emotions into motivation.

Read a tweet on another board that Peters is the top ranked CB on the 49ers draft board.

Wouldn't be shocked at all to see us take him at 15. It would be a bit of a reach, but a definite Baalke move. A trade down would be ideal if he is the target, but then you never know if you will get your guy or not. And Baalke sure isn't afraid to make a pick early to be sure he gets who he wants.

this this this

he's got that Deangelo Hall attitude on the field and really gets in the heads of opposing receivers. love his aggressiveness. his willingness to tackle. and he's an absolute ballhawk
Culliver is gone and Cox likely is too, making CB our top need. I hope we take this guy in the first.
i rather move up a few spots to grab Trae Waynes than down several to grab this guy

Don't see it as a reach at all. I've seen a few mocks that have the Eagles taking him

to each his own, but I think Peters is a much better corner than Waynes. Waynes is good, but he was real aggressive with his hands for Michigan St. that's not gonna fly in the NFL.
Sounds like he's coming in for a visit...I found a good draft breakdown video of him against Jaelen Strong in 2014.
